Girls! Are you bringing your rings?

Married girls... did you bring them and do your recommend it? If so, did you leave them in the safe when you went on excursions or wear the all the time? I'm so undecided....

I brought mine (don't leave home without 'em!). I put them in the room safe when I went on excursions but wore them the rest of the time.
I do not recommend wearing them while on excursions. 1st off you don't want to attract too much attention from the locals. 2nd reason is that if you are doing a water excursion, the sparkle from the diamonds attract large fish and sharks!

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

I never bring my rings on any vacation. Too nervous about losing them.

Did anyone hear about the ATN airfare gas surcharge? My TA emailed me about it last night. It is an extra $50 per person effective May 1st. IBut she said if we pay the full amount for the tickets before May 15th, we are exempt. I'll be paying for the tickets now, to avoid the surcharge.

I'm kinda nervous about leaving them in the room safe, but you make your own combo right? FI really wants me to bring them, so I think i'm leaning towards doing that.

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

Brooklyn... we paid our airfare in full months ago to avoid any add'l charges or prices going up. That's good that you have the option of paying it off now so you don't have to pay that extra $$.

You do make your own combination in the room safe.

I didn't bring my e-ring, only my wedding ring, because I was too worried about losing it. But I certainly saw a lot of brides there with both rings. I definitely don't recommend wearing both when you're on excursions.

Re: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc.) Honeymoons!!!!!!

For the IC Thalasso Bora Bora ladies...

I got pics from my TA on the Grand Opening. However, they're all in a .pdf file. My TA wrote about the Grand Opening and consolidated the pics.

FM me with your email address so, I can forward the doc to you.

It looks gorgeous!

I know... tahiti is REALLY far from fiji, but I really hope the HM-ers in Fiji are being evacuated... and everyone for that matter. I hope there is no Tsunami.

The whole Tsunami concept is scary. Tahiti is on the other side on Tonga but its a scary thought, I hope it doesnt happen and they are wrong.
