At first glance, I'm thinking Intercontinental Resort in Tahiti, St. Regis Bora Bora, and La Tahaa Private Island.

You are the only other person here I have seen wants to go to La Tahaa also. We are going and staying at Vahine Island Resort.

La Tahaa is gorgeous, however VERY secluded, there is absolutely nothing going on, but still gorgeous!

This is exactly why we want to go to La Tahaa. It's our honeymoon and we want to be secluded. We think it'll be sooooo romantic!

I don't think the price will change 8 mos vs 4 mos. We booked a long time ago and I have continued to check the price -- no change. Unfortuantely, you will pay approx $1K per night for an OWB in Bora Bora. We are staying at the Nui and they all seem to be in that range. Good luck.

Boy o boy do i wish i was in tahiti right now.
i just received all the printed pictures from shutterfly and it was like a dream.

i just can't believe that i was there.

It was just incredible.

I can't wait to go back.!

Wow...I guess I'm a little bit late on posting but I was researching some reviews on Bora Bora and I ended up on this website so I signed up for it

We have our trip booked as follow:

1 night Tahiti
Intercontinental Hotel - Lagoon OWB

3 nights Moorea
Intercontinental Hotel - Suite OWB

6 nights Bora Bora
IC Thalasso Spa and Resort - Diamond OWB

3 nights La Tahaa
La Tahaa Private Island Resort and Spa - Premium OWB (one of the only 2 OWB at the end of each row )

We're leaving Sept. 27th through Oct. 12th

So far the things we have booked is one Private Dolphin Experience in Moorea for 1 hour, a 2 tank dive in Bora Bora for a full day (5 dive sites in one day with Top Dive.....can't wait for it , a dinner at Vila Mahana, a sunset horse ride tour with champagne, a Motu Picnic with shark/ray feeding tour with Keishi, a 1/2 day Lagoonarium trip and a 1/2 day diving trip at Tahaa.

You guys have so much info here it's awesome. I'm taking my time reading everything it all and making sure I didn't miss anything.

Congratz on the girls that already went there....the reviews and pictures looked awesome

For those that stayed at the IC Thalasso....what did you think of it?

I am starting to pack and with all these new changes, I have to check 2 pieces of luggage. 1 big, 1 small. Then i'll have a backpack and my video camera case. Are all these allowed on the little interisland flights? I cant understand the information on the website? Any luggage tips are appreciated it!!!!!!! i cant belive i'm packing NOWWWWWWWWW!

i took the backpack and videocamera, it was fine. just have dh hold something also.

i honestly suggest that you take 2 big pieces of luggage to carry back all your mementos.

fyi, we brought 2 big luggages, 2 carry ons and also 2 backpack types and the video camera- and we didnt go over on the luggage limit - thank goodness.

I just came back last week. Actually when we were there is when the incident happened in London. We had two big luggages to check in and two carry-ons. It was fine. However, when we were leaving Tahiti to come home we had a delay, they were going through all the carry on bags. They took my nailpolish, lipstick and suntan lotion that I had in my backpack.

I'm also staying at the Bora Bora Thalasso and Le Taha'a...can't wait. Both places look amazing!

My fiance's family lives out in San Diego so we are there once a year. One of his cousin's lives in La Jolla where your wedding is...it's so beautiful out there! I wish we could move there but I don't want to leave all my friends/family here.

I was just wondering if any of you ladies did the Keishi Shark/Stingray Feeding/Motu Picnic Tour while you were in Bora Bora. I have had the hardest time getting in touch with them and so has my travel agent. I would really like to book an excursion with them. I'm actually leaving on monday and would like to get in touch with them before I leave...any suggestions? (btw, I combed tahitiexplorer. com couldn't find a good email address. Does anyone know how to call Bora Bora from here?)

I did the snokerling, shark,string ray and motu picnic while I was in Bora Bora. However, I did it with Teremoana Tours. It was really good. The # is.... 67 71 38

Why do you want to get inb touch with them now? Theres no need to, they have these tours about 3 times a week and they have plenty of room. We arrived on Monday to Moorea and went Shark/Stingray Feeding/Motu Picnic Tour the next day.

We went on the 4x4 Jeep safari in Bora Bora and made a reservation the day before.

Hi Ladies!! I am back from the beautiful French Polynesia! I will try to post a review and pics shortly, but I wanted to tell you all that is was amazing!!
