There will be no direct flight from NY-JFK to Tahiti Papeete (PPT)... we'll need to connect in LAX.. please double check the flight schedule on ATN website to make sure of the flight change effective date.

Flying to PPT from LAX, you will not need to stay overnight in Tahiti. I think the flight gets in at around 6AM-ish and you'll spend some time to claim baggage then, clear Custom... by that time, there are inter-island flights that can take you to whichever island you'll need to go and do an early check-in.

I think it's better this way..

oh, congrats!! I just got back this saturday.
Where are you thiking of staying?

I was at the sharaton in Tahiti.. very nice for a one night stay.

I was in the pearl in moorea in a premium OWB (upgraded by my TA due to a passport issue & our HM needed to be re-booked)
I LOVED the pearl -it had a very traditional polynesian feel & I LOVED moorea.

I was in a sapphire at the intercontinental thalasso in bora bora... Liked bora bora & liked the thalasso but it lost that traditional polynesian feel that I was looking for. They played techno during breakfast and at the reception desk, which I thought was so annoying. but the hotel itself was beautiful.

I am working on my review, I stayed at Moorea Peal 4 nights in a garden suite bungalow w/ pool, and 8 nights in Bora Bora Pearl in Beach Bungalow and Overwater Bungalow... Check out my album...I don't know how to post all these

Bring alot of sun block!!!

The first night we stayed in Tahiti then in the morning off we went to Bora Bora for 2 weeks-2 different resorts though to break it up.It was sheer perfection! We wanted to do nothing and be antisocial for 2 weeks and it was perfect!

Thanks- i have sooo many honeymoon pics and it has taken me forver to pload the pics-lol I wanna go back!!! sooooo bad!

I wasn't impressed by the venetian- hotel is pretty but the rooms were ok- but since we really were never in our room it was fine. We have been to vegas many times and wanted to stay center strip. I wish we chose the bellagio instead. Next time I would stay at The Hotel.
