I honestly think everyone took for granted the position we were in when we were up 3-0. Even the players have admitted it. But I will repeat, wouldn't it be even MORE heartbreaking for the Red Sux if they lose the World Series? I think I will laugh if and when (doing my evil laugh....)

I am sooooooo with ya on that, girlie!!

What everyone seems to forget is that 'the curse' will only be broken IF the Sox win the WS .. And i'm rooting against them with as much energy as I normally root for my beloved Yankees

Its only Game One.. we certainly learned the hard way that an early lead means nothing in a 7 game series.. So let those Sox burn themselves out early tonight

for the yankee faithful (felicia is excluded from my following rant)

you can do whatever you need to do to distract yourselves from the fact that the biggest payroll in baseball committed the biggest choke in the 100+ year history of baseball, something that may never be repeated again. It doesn't change a thing -- even if the Sox lose, the Yankees will NEVER live this down. And, I find it pretty laughable that the supposed diehards are now rooting for the Cards 'as if they're the Yankees'. The Cards don't need that kind of support. And frankly, while the curse may not be broken if the Sox don't win -- the Yankees invented a new curse that may never be broken.

And before you attack me and the Mets, I'll say this:

1. It's true, we've lost many many many times, we have alot of problems internally and will probably lose alot more -- we've never lost like that

2. Even though I am pulling for the Sox, it's not only because I hate the Yankees. IT's because the Sox haven't won since 1918 and they deserve it. They worked their a$$es off to get here. And if the Cards win, I'll be happy for them too because I'm an NL fan and the NL generally has the better teams anyway.
