ohmigosh! I think I found 'THE' Dress - I THINK THOUGH!!!! I took mom and FMIL to see it and both beyond love it

Girls, I went to a Greek Orthodox wedding today at St. Nick's so just wanted to give a quick review. I posted some pics here

St Nick's: The ceremony was beautiful and the priest (Father Paul) was GREAT. However, the ceremony was supposed to start at 2:30 we got there at 2:15. From 2:15 to about 2:30 they were vacuuming

Some guests actually yelled at the guy vacuuming and told him to stop. So you may want to bring that up with them if you're getting married there. But besides that it was awesome!

The band that they had was Powerstation (they play at Remy). They were AMAZING!! They had the crowd going crazy. We had a blast. So if you haven't booked your band, I would definitely check them out.

Marcela! I loved her dress - let me ask you a question if you remember.

Was the isle big enough to hold both bride and dad and dress? Or was it scrunched?

She looked gorgeous and yes, I couldn't believe how many people were at the church. She has a huge Italian family and He has a large family also

I forgot to add- I went to a wedding last night at the North Ritz Club and wanted to mention the band because they were outstanding! They were called Milos entertainment - young band, with 2 singers - male and female. The woman's name was Olympia - I've heard her before and she is excellent. They created such kefi and really got the party going. Anyway, I didn't get any of their info but if anyone is interested I can get it from my cousin.

The food was nice. I don't like to complain about places, especially since I only have the opinions of those sitting at my table to go by, but there were some issues with the service. During ****tail hour, a waiter spilled a whole tray of drinks on my cousin's dress. Then, during the reception another waiter spilled a Caesar salad on my same cousin!!!

The poor girl - her dress was ruined!! They apologized and offered to pay for her dry cleaning expenses, but she couldn't get up and dance the whole night! In addition, they spilled 3 glasses of champagne on our table and all over a few of the favor boxes that were set in the center. As I said, this is only our table. I'm not sure how the service was at the other tables. Maybe it was just our bad luck!

Other than that, the place was pretty.

Georgia - Every place has good and bad comments! I'm sure this was an isolated case. Other than that, the place was very pretty and elegant and the food was good!
