please give your honest opinions on this dress please. it would be in euro red (almost like a garnet) and the bottom would be champagne

I love this dress. My cousin is wearing that in Euro Wine, which is the red color you're talking about. Let me see if I can find a picture of her in it. She wore it to her prom back in May.

i honestly hate when BM's dresses are made to look like mini wedding gowns... its a pet peeve of mine so IMO, the pick ups have got to go...

Okay, the dress on the right is in Euro Wine. This is my BM (cousin) in the dress. I know the bottom white layer doesn't show. That's because the dress is too long. She had it hemmed but I don't have a picture of her after her fitting. HTH
ok I really wanted to do a pick up style BM dress....when my MIL said this to me

SOOOOO yes they are a fad, yes in 10 years you will say 'what was I thinking' but is that something you can deal with? If so then go for it, I like the dress not the color

If you and your BM's like it then go ahead and do it. In 25 years you can also look back on the pics and say that 'my bridal party looked good in those dresses and they liked them' which I know some other people cannot.

IMO, it wouldn't be right for me because I am not a huge fan of the pick ups... Honestly though, it's your wedding honey, if you love it, I say go for it! Maybe it is just a 'trend' right now, but if that's what you like than do it! (IMO)

I would like it if it did not have the bottom layer. I think that the bottom layer just makes it look to busy. I love the color combination though!

I'm not a big fan of pickups...but that being said, I could almost tolerate it if it was monochromatic. I'm not feeling the bottom layer or the sash.
But obviously, if you like it, and your girls are honestly ok with it, do whatever makes you comfortable and will give you the overall wedding you want.

I wore that dress in a wedding a month ago. It was very pretty and flattering on all the girls but VERY VERY hot underneath. Sorry had to edit I didn't see the different colored fabric underneath. It was the same fit, same pickups, everything exactly the same except for the bottom And I also have to add the other BM's had trouble because the dress was too long and because of the pick-ups the dress had to be taken apart at the seam around the waist. My friend (the bride) was really worried. It was the perfect length on me and I am 5'8.
