Hotel for Wedding Night (Nassau)

Any ideas on which hotels are nice to spend the wedding night at in Nassau county? The only one that comes to mind is the Garden City Hotel, but it is expensive. Any others hotels with a suite maybe?

Hotel for Wedding Night (Nassau)

YOu can try the Marriot in Uniondale- We're staying there because our out of town guests will be there too. The Inn at Great Neck and The Roslyn Claremont Hotel are 2 other options.

The Inn at Fox Hollow

They will be opened in Jan 02, but have a room done so you can see what it will look like. They also have a web site... www.theinnatfoxhollow.com It's $155 per night if you book now, but will go up once built. We held the room for now because of the price, but if we find somewhere else and decide not to stay, we'll cancel.

Roslyn Claremont Hotel

It is so beautiful. It is near the George Washington Manor. The rooms are decorated so beautifully.

Roslyn Claremont Hotel

We stayed at the Roslyn Claremont Hotel since our reception was at the George Washington Manor. So did a lot of our guests (we blocked rooms). The rooms are beautiful, but a little small -- we had a hard time with three bridesmaids sharing a room, but other than that it was worth it!

We are staying at the LI Marriot - my FH used his miles ...

told them it was for our wedding night and they upgraded us 'for free' to the honeymoon suite! Pretty cool deal - tell wherever you decide that it's your wedding night - you just don't know!!!

Cira, Question about LI Marriott

I'm booked at the Claremont, but I'm thinking of switching to the LI Marriott b/c we're doing brunch for our guests there hte next morning. Do you get anything special there in the Honeymoon Suite? Claremont gives you champaign & strawberries - that sold me :-) But Marriott is definitely more convenient and I saw the room and it's nice. THanks! ~S

Sara ...

I didn't even see the room ;-( - we did it for cost reasons and thought that the room would be great because it's at the Marriott. So, I'm glad to hear that you think the room is nice. I'm sure they give you something in the honeymoon suite - but I'm not sure. We thought that since they upgraded us at no charge, we'd take it. Definite worth it for us. But I'd check into it! How's everything else going? It's almost here, huh? I'm glad that it's all working out for you guys - you both deserve it! ;-)
