Was reading the post on how much your wedding is costing and was wondering how people are paying for the wedding. Are you using credit cards, taking out a loan, parents, pay as you go, etc. Me and FH are paying as we go, we want to pay for the wedding outright so no bill after we come back from our HM

We are paying for our wedding...What I have been doing is putting everything on a spreadsheet and as we book things (minus deposit) putting it on the spreadsheet and break everything down weekly we are going to start to put $$ away weekly (smaller amounts dont seem as bad as the larger amount) - I am making a month and a half before our wedding as the deadline (for just in case)...hopefully it will work!

I'm very lucky that my parents and FH's parents have offered to help pay for the wedding. That being said, FH and I are still paying for a large portion of it. We've been putting money into our ING account each month.

We are also using an ing account, I have a certain amount of money deucted from my check every week so its like a monthly bill.

FH and I are paying our own way. Anything our parents offer will be a plus. We have only booked the hall so far so I am not sure how we will go about others....

We have been saving and paying for everything as we go. My parents are going to help a bit on final payments.

We both work full-time. this is my second wedding so my nest egg is gone. FH had some money saved. His parents gave us money but were are saving that towards a house. We are paying as we go, we won't have any debt afterwards. Plus I started selling partylite candles.

FH and I are paying for the entire thing.
I have used cash for everything, except little things I have bought on-line so far.

We're paying for the whole thing on our own. Little by little. My mom did buy my dress and all the accessories etc. That was a big help!

We paid for everything with cash, most places don't accept credit cards anyway. For the last hall payment we actually borrowed the money from a family member and then paid them back with the wedding gifts.

NO DEBT!
I had most of the money saved before I got engaged, was waiting for SOMETHINg to spend it on! Also socking whatever we can into an ING account.

We intended to pay the whole thing ourselves, but both of our parents offered to help so all three couples will be chipping in. We have a Capital One account going.
We're going to pay what we can on credit card, but pay it off right away. Our hall won't take credit cards, but we may take out cash for the big payments to get points for the honeymoon.
