I came home to FH cooking us lobster dinner! He set the table and had raw clams on the 1/2 shell for an apetizer! (yummm!!) After dinner he said he got dessert and pulled out a bakery box and told me to open it. I opened the box and my ring was inside!!!!! He got down on one knee and said: 'Kathryn, will you marry me?'
And i screamed at him: ARE YOU SERIOUS!????

On December 22nd. It was right in front of the ice rink in Bryant Park on, which is where we had our first date. We have this stupid joke about these commercials for 'the jewelry factory of hackensack' that are sooo cheesy, so he said 'hun, this w/end I think we need to make a trip to hackensack so I can get you some jewelry for x-mas' I said NO WAY!! and he said 'we don't have to go, because I ALREADY got some jewelry for you! will you marry me?' My Favorite Things by Coltrane was playing in the background.
PS... the ring was from tri-county NOT hackensack.!

I had a Cinderellas Castle proposal also. I had a feeling it was going to happen but was so into the fireworks I forgot about it. During the fireworks he was standing behind me with his arm wrapped around my chest. I started to feel him shake and get anxious so I knew something was going on. He started going on about how he knew I always wanted a Disney proposal but he wasnt able to get a ring blah blah. So I was a bit mad and just kept shushing him so I could watch the fireworks but then he pulled the ring ou.
He never said will you marry me lol and def. didnt get on one knee. The next day at Universal City Walk I made him actually ask.
The best part was my best friend and her boyfriend were there and her boyfriend was all apart of it too. He was hiding the ring all day in his backpack. Whenever I tried to get water from it he would flip out and not let me touch it. I never caught on I thought he was just being weird!

It was like a dream come true...Cinderella's Castle in Disney World..we were eating dinner and when we were finished...the waiter comes out with this huge plate with a lid on it...he said..Your Prince thought you'd like to have this..he lifts off the cover and there is a glass slipper on top of tons of rose petals..and my ring was in the glass slipper...at this point my FH is on one knee and he said...'Kelly, will you marry me?' AH..I started crying and everyone started clapping! MY FH set it up with Disney and hired a photographer to capture the moment. He took a ton of pics of my ring in the glass slipper before he even bought it out...and a ton more of 'the moment'. It was absolutely amazing!!! Then to top it off, the Wishes Fireworks went off! I'll never forget it!

Mine was during a friends wedding, but we kept it quite not to steal her thunder....hehehehe
Than he redid it on the Brooklyn Bridge with an upgraded ring! LOL
I say he was led by the emotions of attending our first wedding together!

He had went to CO to visit his family ...he bought my E ring out there with his sis......wouldnt let any one touch it ...he wanted me to be the first....he had originally planned to walk off the plane and do it but my little guy wouldnt let him go so FH kept trying finally that night we were laying in bed talking and I commented on what a perfect day it had been....we had dinner at my favorite resteraunt the kids were well behaved we watched a movie etc....it truly was a wonderful day......and FH reached toward his night stand and got a silly grin and said that what would make it a perfect day would be if I would marry him and then explained all the different ways he had been trying lol......it was absolutely perfect

On the top of the Statue of Liberty looking out at NYC.
Our first date was a day in the city and the empire state building.
So only fitting the engagement would be a day in the city at the Status of Liberty.
And i am afraid of heights hehehehehe
the last pic is me at 'the spot' hehehe. After he proposed I said 'how will we remember where it all happend', we both looked up and said 'under her armpit'!!! If ya looked up from the spot we were right under the raised arm lol. so under her armpit hehehehe.
