How did you meet your FH?

We met in college. He lived across the hall from me my freshman year. We were friends at first, but we became inseparable before long.

I met FH in 1990 when my family and I moved next door to him and his family. We dated for 3 years. Then broke up for 6 years (we still kept in touch though) and finally got back together in March 2001.

We met summer of 1997 through a mutual friend. I thought he was the biggest jerk. Late September, my friend had a party and we started to talk. Since that night, not a day hasn't gone by that we haven't spoken...

We were set up by his dad.
I worked with his dad (not same dept) and he knew i was single. So he kept saying you should meet my son.. blah blah I was like 'yeah ok!!' So i said bring him by (not thinking Rob would even be up for that). Well one day he stops by work to meet me... it was soooo awkward. his dad left us alone a little to talk. Then he invited me to their New Years Party (it was Dec 27th when we met). I knew NO ONE except his dad (and his mom a little).

We ended up talking a little (it was hard since he was hosting and all his friends were there). But when midnight came we had our first kiss... and we've been inseperable since.

Summer of 2001, at the Fire Chief's convention in Syracuse. His company was located directly across from the company I was working for. We flirted the whole weekend and exchanged numbers and the rest is history. Lots of frequent flyer miles

We met at a bar July of 2000. My friends and his friends hung out all night and he asked me for my number. Neither of us were really looking for a relationship. When he didn't call after a few days I thought he was never going to. He finally called and apologized for taking so long to call but he was working a lot of overtime. He lives in Brooklyn and i live in Nassau so we made plans for him to come out here the following weekend. We had dinner, went to a movie and then sat at my house talking til 5am. We saw each other every weekend the rest of the summer, and before long knew that it was right.

We met in Feb 1999. I was working for a contractor and Derek came into the office because he was going to be doing some subcontracting work for him. If I didnt quit my other job and get the one with the contractor I would never had met him. Things happen for a reason.

My ex boyfriend introduced us...he was on a date with some hoochie in a mexican restaurant, my ex and I were looking at the menu in the window and he came out to say hello...I thought he was the most amazing guy I had ever met. We didn't start dating for another 5 years!

We met through Love@AOl in Sept. of 2000. My FI put an ad on the site, I answered and we have been together ever since

we met on AOL in a local Queens chat room in January 1999. We talked via IM's and phone calls and we finally met 2 weeks later and have been inseprable since.

When I was looking at schools in NC, I met my friend Will at random from his AOL profile. When I went down to NC to visit the school with my parents, we all went out to dinner, and Will's roomate Mark (my FH) came along. He is shy so we barely spoke and later Will told me that he thought my sister was cute! I was like what a jerk! (I later found out that Will liked me and Mark didnt want to upset him by saying that he thought I was). So when I moved down there in August 2000, me Mark and Will started hanging out, and I invited Mark to come over sometime and watch a movie with my suitemates. He did, and soon after we started seeing each other. After I left that school in May 2001, I went home to NY, he stayed in NC to finish up school that summer (USAir knows me well). After that, he moved back home to PA, and ever since then, we have had a long distance relationship! Its tough, but we are so used to it by now that it seems normal. We are getting married next July.

I first met FH at the bar where I work. I was dating someone and really did not pay much attention to him. A few months later we were both at the same bar for a co workers b-day and the only seat left was next to him. At the end of the night he asked me out and we have been together for 3 yrs. ( with one 5 month break).

I met him at Katharine Gibbs, night classes. I went to school after taking a year off, and the first day of class, I walked in an saw him. I sat right next to him. And the sparks started flying. Glad I decided to move on with my career! That was over 3 years ago now!

In August of 1997, I met him first when I went to eat at Macaroni Grill (after just gettin hired) with my boyfriend at the time. He actually was my server trainer - and we quickly became friends. I broke up with my ex and we then started to go out twice a week after work for drinks and to talk. About 2 months in October we started really date (after my friend Erin - who worked with both of us- she is one of my BM's - invited him over one night when she came to my place to hang out. He came over after work and about 5 mins after he arrived she make up some story about having a headache and she left- and the rest is history)

we met via the internet in October 2000 on a message board...they had a chat room, and we talked for many months before getting together ( i had been in a serious relationship for a while). After that relationship ended, he became my best friend. The rest is history...

We met in the summer of 2000 on a Greek island. We were both in Greece on vacation and a mutual friend introduced us. Love at first sight!
