We met in college. He lived across the hall from me my freshman year. We were friends at first, but we became inseparable before long.

Mutual Friends---my former (lol) good friend @ college had met this guy (her bf) online who happened to go also to our school & my gf wouldn't shut up about this one guy (FH) who was friends with her bf and how funny he was and cute and sweet So one night ( I was kinda with someone else) she was like he's (FH) is going to be on Long Island tonight (he lives in Brooklyn and I wouldn't go out there! LOL) but she wouldn't take no for an answer and my parents were away for the weekend and I was basically on my own so I was like FINE she totally didn't mean it as a set up-but the second I shook his hand in my friend's driveway we locked eyes and wound up kissing that night (he asked me first HOW CUTE?!?!) and we've been together ever since--the rest is very looong and dramatic so we'll just leave it that we are now engaged!! LOL GOOD THING I Decided to go out that night!

I went to a party at HIS house (didn't know him but knew his brother) with ANOTHER guy. . lol! We became instant friends. We started dating a year and a half later after I dumped the other guy Life has a funny way of working out!

When I was young and would tell my mom the my brother's freinds were picking on me, she would tell me someday you'll probably be dating them. Well, now I'm marrying one of them!
Sometimes moms know what they are talking about!

We met through Friends. My neighbor Michele is About 12 years older then i am. She use to babysit me when I was a baby (shes known me forever). When i turned like 12 I started babysitting for 1 year old Daughter Nicole. Michele worked at a nightclub on friday and saturday night so i would babysit from 4 in the afternoon till 4 in the morning and she only had like 10 dollars to pay me. and then when she came home at like 4 she had no one to watch the baby so i would have to stay there all night ughhh. (that has nothing to do with how we met sorry) but anyway one night Michele came home and said I met this great guy named mike. A couple of months later mike was telling I know this kid his name is Mike 2. Hes a lot younger then me but I have known him since he was 5 we are gonna hook you guys up! so finally after 6 months of him saying this the took us 2 meet. they had to drive since I was only 14 and My Mike was only 15. But we have been together ever since in may it will be 8 years but it seems like ony yesterday

I met my FH through a phone chat line . His name was Twister on there and mines was Strawberries-n-Champagne. We were good friends for about 4 months. Then I finally decided to ask him out (yes me b/c he's very shy). We hadn't even met yet but when we did, I was sure I made the right choice (he looked yummy!!!!).

That was almost 4 years ago but I remember it as if it only happened yesterday. He truly is my soulmate.

We met through mutual friends at Jillian's. When we were introduced, our eyes met and we danced the entire night. After we went our seperate ways, my friend Carrie told me how she noticed that he was so interested in me, and I was like..... 'ewww no' but deep down inside I was thinking, 'woo hoo!'

We met on Love@AOL in September 1999. We talked via IM's and phone calls and then at the end of the week we finally met and have been together ever since.

We met in class online. He was just starting his Bachelor's degree and I was just starting my Master's. We quickly became chat buddies in class, and then we met in person for the first time to study for our final together. I knew that he was younger than me and also interested in me, and since I refused to date younger guys, I'd just planned on being friends. But then when he walked in I was like, 'HELLLLO!'. He's quite a cutie and is tall and athletic - the type I totally go for. I still really didn't want to date a younger guy, but he was so sweet and it just felt so right. Before I knew it, we were a couple!

Here's silly for you.
March 2000 We met online. IRC on #newyork (real time chat, room New York). Anyhow I put my pic up and got some people laughing (i was born with two diff colored eyes, I had to prove it).

Anyhow, he sends me his pic and asked if we could catch a movie. I thought Final Destination was a safe bet (not gewy date like). I just wanted a friend in New York. I was new here.

For 3 months we got to go out, play pool, see movies have fun and stuff. It was about two months in when he took me to see Lion King. I dressed up so did he. We wow'ed eachother.

A month later he kissed me. Another month later I let him know the actual apt I lived in. I was super nervous about online hook ups.

We did dating then your place/my place thing until 9/11 happened. We were thinking of marriage before then but BAM!!! I worked there and got injured. We both freaked out that we may be getting married out of fear or guilt. So we held off. He stayed with me after I had surgery and listened to me whine about Physical Therapy.

Then in June of this year... I got my ring. I know it seems like a long time (almost three and a half years of dating). But it is well worth it.

he was a security guard at the office i was working at, but he was engaged and his dad was my boss! once the eggagemtn broke off - he got in touch and after i turned him down the first time, he kept asking me to go out with him, i accepted and we're been together for a little over 3 years now.
But i had nothing to do with his first engagement breaking up - i swear!

We met in college. I was a freshman and he was a senior - I was actually dating someone who was a total JERK that we both knew at the time. I broke up with that guy and slowly him and I started chatting online - but much less so in person. He finally got the courage to ask me on a date!! We didnt actually get together until after he graduated.

We met in 1997, the begininng of my freshman year of college. He was a friend of my boyfriend at the time. We were good friends for two years and both had other relationships before we started dating in June 1999. I didn't want a serious relationship, because I was going to Israel for a month and wanted to be single when I left. We kept in touch the whole time I was gone, and when I landed on July 28th, he surprised me at the airport with roses and officially asked me out.

My suitemate freshman year of college was dating this guy who was a junior at the college we went to, and he took us out to meet all of his friends. FI was one of my suitemates roommates, but I didn't meet FI until a few weeks later. We became instant best friends, and didn't start dating my junior year in college. We dated for 3 1/2 years and then he proposed!!
