My FH and I do notttt live together, my mother would not have it
Although my DAD (you would think it would be the other way around!) doesn't care, his parents are both like 'Just move out together already' haha.
I WISH!!!!
Opinion:
I would love to live with him even though 'its not the right thing to do before you are married' that way we can find out our peeves lol and work on them! I had a friend who was engaged, lived with the boy and he dumped her because she LOADED THE DISHWASHER WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think living together first is a good idea that way you know what bothers you and what doesnt and all that fun stuff :)

I moved in with FH's apartment pretty early on in our relationship and now we have a house together.
My parents weren't tooo happy but they were 100% okay with it after he proposed. I think they worried that we might just live in sin forever!
I love it. We have our own family with our two dogs, so much space, snuggle buddy every night etc.

We bought a house about, 2 and a half years ago.
Personally, and maybe because my family is RIDDLED with divorce, I wouldn't be able to even get engaged to a guy if I didn't know I could live with him first. I mean, once you get married, you share a name, the relationship is different, theres that merging of things/money. I think its important be to sure that you can share not only space, but finanical responsibilities and each others lives before you get married.
But, that is just me...I guess it really depends on how you both feel about it.

FH & I have been living together for 3 years already and I'll say it is definitely different being with someone and then living with them. Personally I dont think I could be engaged and get married and have that be the first time we live together. There's alot of kinks to work out when you move in together. But like everyone else said it is a very personal choice.

I do not live with FH but we live a town away and the drive is about 2 mins (if that). But we do not even sleep over each others houses...lol

FH and I have lived together since last December.
If I lived at home while planning the wedding. . .I don't know if I would have made it! My mother would have driven me nuts!

FH and I own a condo, but we are currently each living w/ our families. We are renting out the condo right now and the tenants lease expires March 31st, which at that point we will not renew their lease and we are moving in there in April.
We are going to offer to sell it to them, and if they buy we will use the money to buy a house!

Fh and I have lived together for a little over 2 years now... For us it was defiantly the best thing we could have ever done... financially maybe not but for our relationship it definatly was.

My FH and I have ben living together officially since probably May/June...but I bought a house in 2008 and he was there like every night sooooo....haha. It's worked out really well for us--we got so much closer, even though the first few months were difficult. But I do understand why people wouldn't want to do it. My FSIL and her husband waited. I don't know how much my mom and FMIL liked the idea (well I do know--they didn't!) but ultimtaely it was up to us and we made the right decision for us and not for anyone else.

FH and I dont live together but we are planning on living together right before the wedding, so we can afford to pay for some of the stuff.
I think that its good to live with your FH you get an idea of how you guys will live with each other and how you will deal with certain things.

I been living with FH since March of last year. The first 6 months were pretty rough. It was hard because we both have strong personalities so we did crash many time. Now it's so much easier...he knows what pisses me off as I noe what pisses him off, but we know how to push our bottons. I love it know I'm glad we moved in together b4 getting married.

FH moved in with me in mid August.
He lived in Ronkonkoma in an apartment and his lease was up so being that I own my condo, it made perfect sense for him to move in with me since I had equity in my home. We've been together since before I bought the condo so he helped paint it, etc... so it wasn't completely like him moving into my space. And he basically spent 3-5 nights out of the week with me because there was such a distance (Ronkonkoma to Long Beach!) so when he moved in there wasn't a huge difference. Yes, I've noticed some things that drive me nuts but I pick my battles
And by the way, I was always against living together before marriage I'm old school like that! But my mom pushed for it and it made sense financially!

Anyway, the responses that this question gets usually infuriate me (not yours though!), so I should learn better to not open this thread but I always do!
FH and I don't live together. We don't have any plans to live together until we are married.
And yes, I think we will be just fine when we do start living together. And yes, I know him plenty well without living with him. Whether or not he is trained to put his socks in the hamper when he takes them off isn't going to be a deal breaker for me.

really, if your relationship is strong, and you discuss these things and are willing to bend a bit to accommodate each other, it's cake. Plus, it's exciting to wait.

We have lived together for about 1 1/2 years. I love it... after doing long distance for 6 years, we needed to move in. There's definitely an adjustment, but as long as you talk things out when they happen and don't let it blow up into one huge fight, you should be fine!
I really think it's important to live together before you get married. I know some people don't agree or can't, but it's just how I feel...

me and the fh have lived together and it was tough at first we had never had a fight prior to moving in together but the 2 months were tough to go through we even were about to break up but I am happy I did it. I had an ex fiancee and we just couldnt live together once we lived together I realized how involved in our lives his mother really was and that was the end of that. Its weird just when you think you know everything its like a whole new world when you live together

FH & I have been living together for almost 3 years now. Let me tell you it is something you should definetly do before you are married because at first getting used to each others pet peeves and such is HARD WORK and STRESSFUL! but after about 6 months of fighting and bickering, we worked it all out and it's been great! I wouldnt of wanted it any other way~

FH and I are living together with my parents. FH stays in my room with me though. He moved in to save money since he was living in an apartment. I think its great plus i dont have to drive out to him every night. Its great! I love it!
