I have 7 months and I feel like we will never have enough money. We are trying to pay cash for everything because we really want to put all of our gift money toward a house but it is getting really hard.
My fh is a mortgage broker and for those of you who know the market is HORRIBLE right now. My poor fh is working sooooo hard and making less than half of what he used to so now alot of the financial pressure is falling on me. I make good money, but I am a teacher so its not that great.
Last night my fh couldn't even sleep, he stayed up all night stressing and worrying. I hate seeing him like this, it makes me want to cry and I know there really is nothing I can do to help.
Sorry for rambling but I am just really feeling down today, why can't things just be easy, or why can't I have a dad to pay for my wedding.
Anyone else feeling like this, please say soemone is and we are not the only broke people.

I am sooo with you guys. I was the one to have the breakdown last night. I am constantly adding in my head how much money is in the bank and how much more we need. I am taking on anything extra that I possibly can at work and that is causing stress too. I am also the one in my relationship that makes more money.
I truly dont know where it is going to come from.
I feel guilty buying anything and get upset to think that I may not have everything that I want for my wedding.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went food shopping last night and it was the first time in a long time i didn't pass out when we got the total...i think i'm getting numb to it....

i thought i was the only one living on less than $20 for almost a week until payday. thank god i just got paid today. im fine with $ for a week and then that last week im always hanging by a thread. its gonna be like that every paycheck until the wedding.

I haven't slept without pills for about a month now - and i'm not joking...
Do what you can and realize your limits...it sounds easy but it's very hard. DIY anything that you can....ask for help from us girls - i'd be happy to help with anything you need! Just FM me...
I know it's not the best thing ever....but we asked for gifts of cash for the holidays & for other things like birthdays or occasions, the same thing. We got our invites for his birthday present, etc....
If you need anything - FM me - i'm going through the same EXACT thing. I have the steadier, monetary reliable job in our relationship, but Dave works in sales & we can't budget his money because it's commission based....
I haven't slept in a week either, thinking about the wedding bills and the regular bills... I could barely function today. I'm going to have to start taking sleeping pills

I hear you alll...... Money issues suck lately..
btw the wedding and paying for a dormer for our house.
I am not exchanging with anyone this xmas not even my siblings.
FH currently makes 1/2 what I do and is gettting a better paying job in few months...CANT WAIT
Just got a manicure for the first time in about 8 weeks.. and man did I appreciate it
