I had the worst scare

Dex was being a jerk and wanted to tell the adoption agency what was going on, he wanted to postone them coming here..he was dangling these children over my head, because he knew I needed him to complete this adoption...what kind of person would do that???? So I hadnt slept, I was sure when I called the agency, they would not allow us to go through with this, so I called our social worker first and she was amazing, but she said she wasnt sure what the agency would say. So I lived in hell for a few days, assuming the worst, that they wouldnt let me go through this adoption alone..I finally worked up the courage to call the agency and the owner was so AWESOME>.she said as long as I dont mind being a single parent, they are better off then where they are and that it is ok, we will still follow through with the qadoption....so I am soooooooooo damn happy..I had been so friggin scared that id lost them, that was a pain ive never felt before, nor do I ever want to feel again!!!! UGH..I just needed to vent, Im so glad to tell the truth, now I dont have to lie to the agency anymore!!!! YEA!!!!!! And the boys will go to court in Ethiopia tomorrow and they will legally be mine!!!

Alicia, I am so sorry you had to go through that!!

I am so happy to hear that you will still be getting the boys. They are going to be so lucky to have you as a mom!

Alicia Im sorry that he did that to you. That is so not right. At least now its all out in the open and you don't have to live thinking what if they find out. TOMORROW HOW EXCITING!

I am sure your heart was breaking over the last few days but this is all that matters!!!!!!! I truly believe people with pure intentions (like loving children) always get rewarded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just want to say that I am so sorry that you were put through such torture! I am so very happy for you that everything worked out and you are still able to get your boys. I don't post very often but I found your story to be so inspiring and those boys are going to have a wonderful and brave mother! Much luck and all the best in you future together

alicia, I'm glad to hear they're still going to give you the boys!! I just can't believe dex would be such a jerk like that (sorry)
we've all been worried b/c we had not see you on the boards for a while...
don't worry, those boys will be in your arms before you know it, and all will be as it should!!! You're going to be a great mommy to them!!!!
