I HATE being a jealous possessive FREAK!

Hey, Jess your not being a jealous possessive freak. It's normal to feel the way you do.

My Brother inlaw whom is one of FH's GM. Keeps telling me how he's going to bring Rocco (FH) to a strip joint so he can have breasts rubbed into his face.
I'm like WHATEVER!!!

It really doesn't bother me, but when its constantly being brought up. It's starting to get annoying.

It's definitely good that you are having your party the same time as FH.

Try not to give it too much thought. Think about the fun you will be having at yours. Bear in mind that your FH chose you to be the special lady to be in his life forever so these girls does not mean anything to him. The girls are just there to entertain the men but after the party your FH will only be thinking about you.

I am talking about the PHYSICAL stuff...just the IDEA all the dancign and touching...I don't really go THAT deep....LOL I am talking pure skin.

Honestly Jess, these woman are being paid to do it...there's not gratification from either end of it. Yes, Bachelor Parties can get pretty out of hand, but in the end, Leo has a conscious and you to contend with.

actually...I fixed my own 'problem'...fh said he'd rather someone send him to a soccer match than have the whole crazy stripper thing, so...

I told him I'll send him take him to a soccer match (in Italy, of course) AFTER I perfect my strip-dance routine....at least he'll be guarantted a happy ending.

hehehe....I bet he's looking for tickets as we speak! If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. fight fire with fire!

My fh's bachelor party is the same Saturday night as mine. I found out the what and the where (we have a friend that owns a nice italian rest. in Park Slope...they are closing it down at 10:30 for a 'private party)

anyway, while I would NEVER tell fh anything about the party....I am freaking out just THINKING about some chick touching him all over...

it's so weird b/c for his 30th bday, I didn't care...but I just feel this is going to get RAUNCHIER....

I don't even think he'll do anything...I just HATE my overactive imagination!

I need something to poke out my mind's eye!

Wouldn't you flip out if you saw that? What's the real difference between those two situations? The one which is in celebration of getting married is probably worse. Don't get brainwashed into thinking that you are wrong for being very worried. Why would you ever want another woman touching your FH? You are NOT a freak or possessed. You are an intelligent woman who knows what happens at bachelor parties.

this is what pisses me off. I don't see a difference. And yes, it's annoying that this is the big celebration of getting married...seeing some random girl(s) naked. How romantic!

Supposedly FH's party is just going to a casino and gambling. It's probably better that way so at least I won't drive myself crazy thinking about it

You are SO RIGHT. My FH is not doing it, he thinks it's disrespectful to me. He thinks it's CHEATING on me. Neither one of us is doing the bachelor/bachelorette party, and our friends all respect our decision.

I see what you are saying. I think, at least for me, the main difference is the 'threat' factor...some random chick at a bar is actually coming on to your man (causing above reaction LOL) whereas a stripper is an 'entertainer' she's being paid to do what she does and doesn't have any interest in any of the men there (in general) other than the interest of making some money. at least that's how I look at it, so I don't feel like we are cheating on each other by observing...kissing and heavy petting is something else entirely, but I don't think fh would do that. he's too vain to PAY someone to makeout with him! LOL

this is what i have now come to know is the truth - it IS different when it's a B party and your man is the GROOM. it's scary, it's annoying, it makes you feel pissed and obsessive... it just DOES.

As far as I know, FH obeyed my wishes in Vegas (I do trust him 100%) and I'm glad it's over... And I don't care whatsoever if i'm being 'that girl'....Call me possesive, call me anything...i'm just not down for that anymore!

Im right there with you.. My Fh's Bach. party is a cousins paintball... I specifically told him and all his guys NO strippers, no bars or anything So thats why they are doing paintball...

But I still dont trust 1 of his guys.. I think they might try to get him out another time just to spite me.. And he's my FH's Brother!!!

Leese...unfortunately, I'm in agreement with Laurie. I don't feel possessive or mad about it...

Honestly, I don't understand the whole 'strippers are a threat'....but then again, I also don't understand those women who sit there and stay with their man who's cheated on them numerous times, but yet blame the 'other' woman!

i know..... laurie - i really hope you don't feel even a slight twinge. i really do. i NEVER cared until we got engaged. and i will tell you the weekend he was in vegas was the #1 worst weekend i've had since being engaged. it was horrid. i cried almost everyday. and i am not a jealous person. the thing is....when it's THAT DAY and you start THINKING about it... it changed for me.

I TOTALLY understand! My FH's GMs are taking him to Vegas for 3 nights and I HATE the things that pop into my head

He went to Vegas with them once before while we were together and it didn't bother me at all, but this is his Bachelor party and now it does bother me.

I do not think you should beat yourself up at all for feeling the way you do, I think it is very natural. Some people just don't like to admit that they would be jealous of these things, but again, I think it's normal.

I know you said that you wouldn't tell him anything about the party, but could you maybe let him know a few of the things you would be uncomfortable with? My FH asked me to make him a list - forget it! It will be 1,000 pages!
