Lindsay Lohan gets into another car crash because of paparazzi!!!


Lindsay Lohan, whose car crash in May led to a state law aimed at reining in celebrity photographers, has crashed again, this time after witnesses said she was swarmed by paparazzi.


Lohan and a female passenger suffered minor injuries Tuesday after the actress' Mercedes-Benz convertible collided with a van on a West Hollywood street.

Witnesses said Lohan, 19, had been shopping at a clothing store when she was confronted, and that dozens of photographers had been following her before the crash.

'There were about 30 photographers outside covering the store; the poor girl just was shopping and they were just like hounding her,' said Lori Satzberg, 43.

'She got into her black Mercedes across the street and they literally were like sitting on her car, trying to take pictures of her, she was like yelling at them to get off,' said Satzberg, who was shopping with her 13-year-old daughter.

The driver of the van, which careened into a parked vehicle, suffered moderate injuries, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Diane Hecht.

Authorities said there was no evidence alcohol was involved in the crash. Lohan's publicist did not return a call for comment.

The star of such films as 'Mean Girls' and 'Herbie: Fully Loaded' also was involved in a May 31 traffic accident when she tried to evade a photographer who collided with her.

The photographer was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon after police said he deliberately crashed his car into Lohan's.

That crash was credited with prompting passage of a measure Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law on Friday calling for steep financial penalties for paparazzi who commit assaults in their efforts to obtain celebrity photos.

The new law allows victims of paparazzi assaults to file lawsuits seeking up to three times the damages they suffered. The law goes into effect Jan. 1.

Tuesday's accident was witnessed by a number of people, including a reporter for the syndicated television show 'The Insider.'

Other witnesses said they saw Lohan and her passenger run into an antique store immediately after the crash.

'She was very upset,' said Javier Ramirez, who works at Hideaway House antiques. 'She kept saying, 'Oh my God, oh my God, I can't believe it.''

Ramirez said Lohan and her passenger left after a few minutes and although both were shaken up, neither appeared badly hurt.

She needs to stop snortting coke and go back to drivers ed, learn how to drive without crashing every other month, or hire a driver.

It's sad, and true (unfortunately) - my bf (moh) is dating a rather 'famous' person (LOL) - she'd kill me if she knew I was posting this. But anyway, he's got close ties to Lindsey and she has a serious addiction.

All I know is that she needs to be OFF the road, God forbid someone does get hurt.

I don't necessarily believe that but if it is true, then I feel bad for her and hope she gets help. I have seen many people suffer from addiction and it is nothing to mess around with !!!

Is it really over for 'Newlyweds' couple JESSICA SIMPSON and NICK LACHEY? According to this Friday's issue of Us Weekly the popular twosome, who have been shooing away break up rumors for the past year, are no longer together. But Nick's representative tells ET that the reports are 'not true.'

In a joint statment on behalf of Nick and Jessica his rep says: 'Nick and Jessica have not separated. Rumors to the contrary are simply not true.'

The pair were last seen together publicly on September 11 when they sang a duet at an NFL football game. According to the magazine, rumors of a split started to swirl again when Jessica arrived solo (and without her wedding ring) to her sister ASHLEE's 21st birthday in Las Vegas last weekend and Lachey, who was scheduled to be there, was a no-show.

Us Weekly sources also claim it was her ego, her partying and her dad that drove the couple, who will celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary on October 26, apart. Just days ago, while talking about her new body care collection 'Sweet Kisses,' available at Wal-Mart, Jessica spoke with ET's CHRISHAUNDA LEE, offering marriage advice.

'I think you have to always remember, and he has to remember, that you do need a compromise, even though it's hard,' she said.

She admitted though, that sometimes strong personalities can get in the way of marital negotiations. 'There's people with pride involved,' she says. 'You have to back down sometime -- just a little bit.'

Also I thought he was infertile - (why didn't him and Nicole ever have kids? - I know that after their breakup she was talking about how she would love to be pregnant and have a baby)

Tom Cruise's fiancée, Katie Holmes, is pregnant with the couple's child, Cruise's spokesperson, Lee Anne DeVette, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

'Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family is very excited,' says DeVette.

Cruise, who has two children, Connor, 10, and Isabella, 12, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, began dating Holmes in mid-April. He proposed to her atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris in June. DeVette says there is no wedding date set.

DeVette would not comment on the baby's gender or say how far along the pregnancy is. The rep did say that Holmes, 26, 'has never felt better.'

R&B singer-songwriter Babyface and his wife have split after 13 years, but will continue to do business together.
They have two young children. The pair said they had already been unofficially separated 'for quite some time.'
'It is with deep regret that we announce our permanent separation. We remain best friends,' said the couple, who have also produced movies and television shows together, including Soul Food.
'(We) will continue to work together in our companies, and our various business ventures,' the statement said. 'More importantly, we are parents of two wonderful children, and will continue to provide a loving, caring and stable environment for them.'
