Jen and Vince split confirmed

After weeks of distance both emotional and real, the relationship ax fell the week of September 9 for Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston. A source close to Vaughn tells Us that the split happened just before the actor left for London to begin work on his holiday comedy, Joe Claus. 'It's not common knowledge, but we're not together anymore,' Vaughn told the insider September 13, adding that they solidified the breakup in a long phone conversation. 'We've split up.' Confirms an Aniston pal: 'They're 100 percent done.'
In addition, Life & Style magazine speculates that Jennifer even has her sights set on a new man, Matthew McConaughey. A friend dished to the mag, declaring, 'Jen has a mad crush on Matthew.' My advice to Jen: dress up like Jake Gyllenhaal with lots and lots of spandex if you want to want to catch Matt's eye.

Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler both filed police reports this morning alleging they were attacked. Paris claims Moakler punched her in the jaw and Moakler claims Paris's ex Stavros Niarchos poured a drink over her head and shoved her down some stairs. So basically today is the best day ever. The incident happened at Hyde at around 1:10 AM when Shanna confronted Paris and started screaming obscenities, at one point punching her in the jaw with a closed fist. The bad blood is the result of Paris getting it on with Shanna's estranged husband Travis Barker, and a source close to Paris reveals that Shanna has been leaving 'menacing' messages on Paris's answering machine.

LONDON (Reuters) - The media rounded on Michael Jackson and the organisers of an awards ceremony where he appeared late on Wednesday, calling his first public performance since his child molestation trial last year 'shambolic'.

Far from the full rendition of mega-hit 'Thriller' the world's media had been led to expect at the World Music Awards in London, Jackson instead sang the chorus line of his charity single 'We Are the World' with a choir of children.

When he reached for the higher notes he appeared to struggle, and mid-song the sound was inexplicably cut.


U.S. star Chris Brown sang 'Thriller' instead, even wearing the familiar red leather jacket of the original video, but he failed to placate a crowd who had not come to see a stand-in.

'Jackson the flop' was the Daily Mail's headline in its online version on Thursday, describing what many had hoped would be a triumphant comeback.

The review, which accused Jackson of not trying, added: 'It was enough to make you cry. And not in a good way.

'However many times he told us he loved us (and there were many) -- and however much we yelled and screamed and pinched ourselves, his performance was a shambles.'

The Mirror called the event an 'embarrassing comeback' and focussed on those in the crowd who booed at seeing Jackson sing just four lines of music.
