i really think it depends on what iwas said...if someone said the food ****** ....i love it so thats not a problem...if it was something that i felt would effect my day i would Def bring it up!!!!!without a doubt!

im one of the rare few i guess

IMO- I think people are entitled to their opinion. Sometimes you don't like peoples opinions and sometimes you don't.

I'm confused, how is something that someone says on the board going to effect my day?

i didnt want you to hold back meaning by saying if you would or wouldnt do it in fear that people would stop replying to your posts or answering your questions thinking that you are a rat

I think it just happens naturally when someone posts a question. Esp since its such an Opiniated question. Kinda comes with the territory, ya kno - dont take it personally.

I would look into it, but my take on the post was different...i thought she was asking if we would take the time to call our RH to tell them they are being poorly spoken about...that i would not do...but if i had a concern, i would look into it for my own well being, not necessarily to give a heads up to my RH...know what i mean?

i agree..like a while ago with the whole black forrest thing..everyone called CLM the next day over a bakery that people thought it was going to mess with THEIR DAY based on where their cake came from

thats what she means by your day

when that came up everyone called to see what was going on

If I saw something (like the thread regarding the the scuffs on the dance floor and the broken moulding around the dance floor), I would go into my hall to look and point it out to them. I would NOT say so and so on LIW said your dance floor is dirty and the moulding is broken. I would go look and if it bothered me, I would say something. Not everything bothers people with the same degree. If I heard there was a fire and the hall burned to the ground, I would call them and say I just heard the hall burned to the ground. That's my opinion. I hated certain halls and other ladies LOVED them and booked them. It's personal choice and opinion.

ok, I understand that point but in your initial post it sounds like you're calling them just to let them know about negativity on the boards, not about a specific concern. I think that's why I'm confused, sometimes it just comes naturally though.

I completely understand that you started this thread to get opinions on whether you should call or not. If you had already made up your mind then this thread would be pretty pointless, wouldn't it? I gave you my god's honest opinion in my post, I'm sorry if anything I had said offended you.

i dont think that the chatter on here would shut down an entire RH

a hairdresser or smaller vendor possibly but not an RH with a good reputation

besides, i have enough of my own things in my life to focus on, i dont have time for that

ETA: i dont think it was phrased totally the way you meant it
if it was about MY RH or vendor and I MAY have similar concers than YES, I would ASK them about it
I wouldnt just call to say, 'Hey, someone said.....'
