my feelings on LIF. I think maybe I'll just post on NW here after the wedding. I'm scared of some of those people, plus it seems like its even too much of a drama pit for ME. Anyone else feel weird over there?

I just created an account over there so I could post on the teacher board.
Families helping Families is depressing -- lots of people need prayers. TTC is depressing and it's so hard to read with all the abbreviations.
LIW has drama and people need to vent all the time but it's centered around a very happy event.
That site seems to be mostly about problems.

Some of the girls there were very very welcoming, but maybe I just don't feel like I fit in. Too many people, too many opinions. And not about things I really care about at this point in my life, I guess.

I wont be going over there. The few times I lurked I couldnt believe how catty some of the girls were. It just seems like theres a holier-than-thou attitude over there. Me no likey

Maybe thats it. They're just at a different stage of life than I am. They're mostly moms with homes, and I guess my priorities are very different right now. Oh well.

Neither can I...especially after lurking on the BF post. FOUR pages (well this was last night so it's probably more) of snarkiness...and whipping their boobs out in all manner of arrogance. What I really hated is their need to tear liw girls apart on their boards. I'm scared of them

hmm Im pretty comfortable there. I go on the Home page b/c we just bought a house in March. I lurk on the TTC and Parenting boards, We will TTC after the wedding...Celeb Gossip is good too... Haven't posted there much though....

i feel the same exact way!! I was scared to post so I only have like 3 or 4 posts. I mean yes we are new but you can at least acknowledge that we are there!! I feel like unless you have 1000+ post you are not even noticed or your opinion doesn't matter.

Yeah maybe if I was at the 'buying house' or 'having baby' point I'd like it better, but the only boards I'm interested in are the NFR ones, and those are the ones that get a little
