Is it just me, or am I being a spelling error 'junkie'!?!?!?

Is it just me, or am I being a spelling error 'junkie'!?!?!?

Why is it that every day, whenever I read posts, the word 'definitely' is ALWAYS spelled wrong, by more than 1 person?

I know I am being a PIA and a little anal too, but sheesh!

I guess it's just one of those words!

I think the same thing sometimes. The mix ups with 'to' and 'too', 'would of' instead of 'would've' and 'there' and 'their' gets to me, too.

I think that its a very commonly misspelled word. I notice it a lot too.

Yeah, I am the same way with 'your' versus 'you're' - I pick it up all the time!

Sometimes I definitely need LIW spellcheck - cause I am just horrible at spelling! I'm so used to Word spellcheck that I am getting so lazy with my spelling

I'm not SO big on misspelling, becasue a lot of times, people are typing fast and it's a typing error, bit if I see a word misused in a thread's title, a lot of times, I won't bother even looking at it.

I also can't stand when people forget to use punctuation.

Or when people are going so fast that they leave entire words out of their sentences....

I think it's because I'm an English teacher, and I'm constantly correcting those things at work - I don't want to come on here and do it as well

Well, the last 5 days of work I've been sitting at a desk grading papers (with an occassional LIW break, of course )
If that sounds like fun to you.......

I notice spelling errors a lot, especially 'your' vs. 'you're,' but they don't really bother me on the internet.

Stuff like that really bothers me when it is on signs in stores for public display. I especially hate misplaces apostrophes, such as 'free Big Mac's.' I'm always like, 'Free Big Mac's what ?'

I'm a horrible typist, so it makes my spelling appear even worse than it is.

However, posts with no punctuation drive me crazy! I just can't understand them!

I'm such a geek that I sometimes use spell check and after I hit post...if I noticed I've spelled something wrong...I edit and correct!

I hate 'alot'...ugh!!! 2 words people!!! 2 words!!!

I definitely mispell my fair share, some are just common typos though and I always just blow past those in a post or email (like 'becuase' or 'liek' etc). These kill me:
'rediculous'
'prolly' or 'properly'
their vs. they're
'supposively' or 'supposibly'
to vs. too vs. two
and haphazard punctuation!

There are others, I just can't think of them. Unfortunately, proofreading is part of my job... so I brought these annoyances on myself!

you forgot 'grammer'
