It just barely started out here on the east end. I don't really like snow, but when I heard over 10+ inches last night, I was excited that maybe no work. So, I'm feeling a little disappointed now. Maybe it'll start falling hard soon and I can leave early.

The Texan in me will love snow til the day I die, no matter how bad traffic gets, or how much I have to shovel. Before I moved to NYC in 1995, I had only seen snow 3 times in my whole life. Needless to say, the Blizzaard of 1996 was two of the happiest days of my life. I LOVE SNOW!

I couldn't believe how many people were slipping on the sidewalks in manhattan this am! I was almost one of them! But unless public transportation shuts down - I can't imagine going home early - but I WISH!!

I want to bake like Jen!! LOL!

Well I think we are getting out early from work but not early enough,

the drive on the parkway was fine, but once I get on the streets by my job, every car is slipping and sliding. Dont like it.
I hope no one bangs into my car.

so lets all prayer for save driving for everyone.

I do love the snow, just dont like driving in it.

well one good thing mike will get to use the snow blower I bought him for christmas last year.

Everyone be careful out there!! I just got to work and the side roads are TERRIBLE!!!!! I am supposed to work late tonight but lets keep our fingers crossed that I get out early

Liz almost got into an accident coming to the office. The side roads are all ice (at least in Port Jeff they are). Be careful! I'm send all staff home as soon as the road in front of the office is sanded.

It must be freezing there today since it is only 30 degrees in Dallas! People freak out here when it gets this cold. It is actually pretty amusing to watch!!!

I hope I can leave work early. Its supposed to get really bad. Already heard that the roads are icy and there's accidents everywhere.

Ohmigosh, I'm looking out my office window right now at the snow coming down on the Rock Center Christmas tree all lit up. This is the most beautiful winter scene I have ever caught live!!

Everyone please be extra careful getting home ~ my DH was sent home from work 2 hours ago because it was too dangerous to drive around.

I don't know if I am jealous he gets to go home or glad that he's home to clean the house and do laundry
