Hi all, Does anyone know of a place on Long Island that does Japanese staightening? I had it done already but its time for a touchup and I'd prefer not to go back to the place in Woodside. Thanks!

Re: Japanese Hair Straightening Place?
yes..its a high amount..
its not a straightening stystem if its only lasting 3-4 months
the CHI is PERMANENT..you only need your roots done every 6 months..or whenever you feel like it
you dont have to blow dry it or touch it with a flat iron if any of these are done correctly...if you still have a wave in it..its a relaxer
dont do it until you are sure that it is permanent..cause then uyou are just being overcharged

Just be careful. my hair stylist told be not to get that done b/c it's hard to do up do's and curls with the japanese straightening. I know of a place in Lake Ronkonkoma and cheap too. fm if you want details

Re: Japanese Hair Straightening Place?
My friend had it done....she had it done in the city for like $600.....it was the one you only need to get it touched up. She just washes here hair and lets it dry....no blow drying or anything and its pin straight. It looks really good.
