No! Im kinda secretive and my mom thought we were just casually dating, until she realized that he was at my house everynight. It was so funny she tried to give me an ultimatium' She goes, Now look Bianca your not going to have this man with you everynight. If you want him around so much you'll are going to have to get married, That's when I had to hit with that Well Mom we are. She started crying. Which completely surprised me because im her only child and thought she was going to give me a HARD time. Now she makes FH cupcakes and not me

Yes he did and my father made him sweat for it! He brought FH into the garage and my poor FH was sweating and all nervous while asking and then my father left a long dramatic pause before he answered yes. He still thinks it was hysterical and loves to tell the story w/the long dramatic pause and all.

Yes...he asked my father Dec 27th, we were engaged on New Years in front of my father's family.

he went to my Dad's house right after he picked up the ring, he was there for like 2 hours (was told after the fact) they had champagne and my Dad and Stepmom cried.

Yes he did....He said he could barely get the words out and him and my father were funny about it. Said that Dad was all nervous...then told him that he had to ask my mother!! It was hard enough to talk to my father for him!! LoL

Yes, my DH came to the house and ask my dad prior to him asking me. I thought it was very sweet.

FH asked mom on our way out the door. Only because my mom and are soo close like best freiends and he knows my mom would be so excited and start the brain storming and i would pick up on it right away. LOL but they way it happened was so funny, memorable and perfect.

Mine asked my mom about 2 months before and my dad about a week before.... My mom lives in FL and he really wanted to do it in person, so he asked her the previous time that we were down there!! My parents would have KILLED him if he didn't...they're old fashioned like that!

Mine didn't. I'm not close with my dad but I am SO close with my mom. He knew if he told my mom she would have acted weird so he decided not to in order to save the element of surprise
