Just Engaged... question!

Been lurking for a while but finally got an account bc I'm officially ENGAGED as of about 12 hours ago!

I'm planning to get married November 2011 and I'm scared that the places that I like are going to be all booked up... Do you think it will be possible to find a place that's not already booked for the either of the first 2 Fridays and Saturdays next November?

I'm looking to spend $100 pp after tax/grat... Any ideas?

So far I plan on calling Lombardi's on the Sound and Giorgio's.

First of all...enjoy being engaged. Its exciting and fun so try not to rush the planning too much!

Second - how many people are you looking to have?

Welcome and Congrats!

Just start calling around to places you are interested in and see if your date is still available.

We will prob invite around 150 and we want a Friday just bc it'll be cheaper! I'm trying not to rush but I want to get the venue booked asap bc I'm in grad school for my nurse practitioner and can't get married beyond next November because I will be working full time and doing a clinical rotation on top of that!

I think you should be ok with finding dates. After the holidays is when things really start to book up quickly, but since you are november it should be ok.

As for RH, check out Larkfield Manor. You can get alot for your money with a 100pp budget. Speak with either George, or Maryann- there my favorites!!

Congratulations! Welcome to LIW. This place becomes an obsession very quickly!
Call around to all the places, they will tell you if your date is open. We looked at a lot of places so don't be afraid to shop it around.

congrats! Maybe you should wait if your concerned, being engaged is really fun and your gonna think it went by so fast when your wedding comes. I'm sure you can find a place, but it might not be exactly what you want, if thats the case I would wait.
