is she out of her mind? $400 or $350 for hair and makeup???? my goodness that is like a dress deposit!

my hair somewhere else is costing 250....i love the job shes doing so imgoing to go with her..... but im expecting that with my hair wiill be around 350

WOW her prices have gone up! in '06 i paid $300 for hair & makeup...$150 for day of makeup $150 for day of hair... i thought that was a LITTLE high(more for hair esp.)...but $400??? damn! lol. i will say she is absolutely phenomenal...for me she was worth every penny because i was very particular about what i wanted...but $400?! what happens in 2years from now when the prices keep going up?!

i have a trial set up for later this week, its $85 for the trial for just makeup...so we will see....

my makeup trial - $45, day of - $70

hair trial - $50, day of $55 (pending trial on Sunday...)

So far, i love the way my makeup came out..you can check out the pics in my album..
and the girl im getting my hair trial done w/ comes highly recommended...

why spend that much money on something some1 can do just as well at a different price..

i think she is worth it...

when i booked she was $175 for just make up - totally worth it IMO.....i gave a $75 deposit and then on the day of the wedding i owed $100 for make up - for the bridesmaids & moms she charged $85 each for make up - but she did airbrush on all of them and i thought that was a very reasonable price for their make up.....

for me it would have been cheaper to go with M-i-a for hair and make up - i used Roseanna Amador for hair and she was expensive - $150 for me and $100 for everyone else....

i paid for my girls to get their hair done b/c it was expensive.....

i really dont think m-i-a's prices are that bad when you compare them to other stylists - like roseanna amador, nicole d'angio, maureen and claudia pedala, etc. and she is just as good as them if not better and they are all more expensive....

I agree...she did my hair at my trial as if I was about to walk down the aisle... the first lady i went to for a trial kept saying 'well on the day of it will look better'.. I'm supposed to book someone imagining how it will really look on my wedding day?!?!? I don't think so!!

there are different levels...

they do not have to do air brush makeup which is the most expensive...

they can have it done for under 100 bucks if they go with the traditional makeup.

400 thats alot. did you want hair put in or something that sounds unreal 400. I do agree that *** is talanted and worth every cent. but I didnt pay 400
