I just wanted to start a thread for future brides already living with their FH. I am and I wanted a place to vent about how it affects the wedding and everyday life!

John and I have lived together for almost two years and honestly those first 6 months were hard to adjust since I always lived with my parents...Im glad our first 6 months of marriage wont be like that since we are already in a routine

livin in sin for 2 1/2 yrs now. Had a rocky start, so to me it was the best thing we ever did. Go Sinners!!!!!

DF and I have been living together since. It's technically living in 'sin' but I am going to hell for a lot of other reasons besides living with my DF!
I dont think I would have it any other way. We have had a chance to work out the kinks of living together and getting into a routine so that once we are home from the honeymoon, we can pick up where we left off, just married!

This past December made 1 year that I have been living with FH.
I think it makes planning easier because I sit on the couch with the laptop next to him while he is watching TV. If I want to show him something I just turn the computer so he can see it.
And going to sleep with his arms around me and waking up next to him is the best feeling in the whole wide world...

My FH and I moved in together a year ago (for financial reasons). His parents moved to South Carolina, and I was already teaching and couldn't wait to get out of my parents house...so we've been living together for almost 1 year--and actually the day we moved in together will be our wedding date! It's too expensive to live on LI by yourself, plus you really get to know each other when you're living together.

Sorry to crash...I can't wait to live with FH. But I have to wait until July of 2008- he gets out of the Marine Corps then (he will be stationed in Japan from July of 2007 to July 0f 2008) so I wont see him for a full year- and if anyone says anything to me about moving in with him in July of /08 after not seeing him for so long- they got something coming their way jk
But I can't wait to get out of my parents house. Also since we have been together FH has been in the military and we only spent the most of about 2- 2 1/2 weeks together while he is home (and not living together) . So before we get married I want to make sure we have just as strong as a relationship while we are together for longer than 3 weeks as we do while he is away for months at a time---- does that make sense?!
BUT July 2008 cant come SOON ENOUGH!!

im glad were living together..it wouldnt make any sense unless we lived near our family..but we dont so we have no other choice

2 years ago, FH and I were saving to move in with one another, but we realized we should just save our money while we live at home. Now that we are engaged I want to wait to move in with FH. I want the first night together at OUR home to be when we are married.
I agree with you. I'm not allowed to live with FH before we get married, my parents don't want it. My dad always says' your not living in sin'. I don't think I would want to I want everything to be special when we get married.
