We decided to get the groomsmen stainless steel flasks and matching Zippo lighters engraved with their first names. I got them at Things Remembered and they came out really nice.

We are trying to not cut back too much for the holidays, but I think it is inevitable. We are also looking for a house right now, so I am trying to be very budget-conscious.

What does everyone have left to do? I feel like there are so many little details, but we still have some big things like limos, tuxes, rehearsal dinner, that we haven't finished yet.

we still need to do our party bus ( i think I am going to check out coachman, gave us best price so far), also have to do tuxes, rehearsal dinner - planning to have the Thursday before wedding, since our wedding is Saturday, there is a day in between, cant do week before bc everybody wont be here.

need to get my favors, headpiece, go for trial.
and probably some little things

gifts for attendents.

I just found out TODAY, that my dress was shipped early and was in Bridal Suite (Bayshore) when they had the fire. They are guaranteeing me that everything will be fine, but every time I call I am getting a different story and told not to get upset. I was told a few weeks ago that all of my dresses would be in by December, but now the delivery date of my gown is mid-February (only 6 weeks before the wedding). My bridesmaid dresses were actually delivered yesterday, but I am worried that something else is going to happen with my dress.

Is it March yet? I am not sure I can handle any more problems with this wedding.

Wow alot to deal with March bride, I cant believe your dress was there.

Take a deep breath, it seems to be a very stressful point for us March brides. I am sure your dress will be in on time, but its hard to deal with.

Hey March Brides!!

Can you believe we have only four months to go? I am getting excited and nervous.

My FH and I went to home depot the other day and when I was filling out a return slip I realized that that day was our four month mark. I turned to my FH and he had noticed the date too and had a huge smile onhis face and gave me a kiss. I just had to share

Just ordered our invites on Saturday... so that's one less thing...

- find shoes & thigh highs
- find a hairdresser
- get gifts for girls
- make baskets for out of town guests

I just picked up my invitations!!!! I need to go over our invite list and get addresses.
I looked at a DJ last night, we are looking for a really simple thing (no crazy light shows or give-away stuff) He wanted $1750 for the reception and would give us ceremony music and cocktail hour music for free...is this good???? I need to call around, who are you girls using???

Well I got a email from Netbride and my bridesmaids dresses were shipped out yesterday I am so excited!!!

working on favors, how much are you all spending on your favors?

also my travel agents added a nice honeymoon package to our package so that was nice. so little extras

I actally saw my favors in Macy's. I contacted the company and got my favors directly from them really cheap. All the boxes are at my FH's house. his father wants to kill me b/c every other day there are boxes being delivered to his house.

Regarding the snow. I hope it doesn't decided to snow in March. Let's hope we all have some nice spring weather.

Hey March brides...just wanted to check in.

I picked up my invitations this weekend and absolutely love them. Now I have to send the envelopes to the calligrapher so I can start assembling them right after the holidays.

FH and I also ordered our wedding bands this weekend. It seems so close now.

My flowergirl dresses finally came. I ordered them from this tiny boutique in Los Angeles b/c I couldn't find anything in New York that I liked. I am I crazy or what.

The days are just flying by. Only 108 days left!!

Hey March Brides how is it going.
well I wasnt in work yesterday bc I was sick and Had a Wonderful Whirl Wind Weekend,
this is how it went

friday night, engagement mass for all the pre cana couples and host couples, with wine and cheese (and beer) party to follow. Then to local watering hole for a few drinks, thank goodness Michael lied to me a said he had to work on Saturday morning or I would have been out all night.

Saturday - Mike went to work or thats what I thought, then I ran around trying to figure out what to wear to my uncles 65th bday party, Aunt and Uncle picked me up and brought me and grandma to Dan Foley Pub - which is a part of Durows of Glendale (beautiful place inside)

well Guess what there was no party for my Uncle it was my Bridal shower, which I was supposed to know about and was going to be in Jan.

It was wonderful my sister and mom flew in from SC and my cousin and flowergirl flew in from VA,
It was a christmas theme very appropriate for me a BIg Christmas person.

I will go on about my shower in another thread.

then yesterday stayed home sick

today my bridesmaids dresses already came in from NETBRIDE.com and they are PEFECT

and I am still sick but VERY VERY HAPPY.

I think my shower is very soon. I just took a peek at my registry and there are some things missing. My mom has been getting a lot of calls from family and friends suddenly. I wonder what's up!!



I can't sleep anymore. I wake up in the middle of night and start making lists of things to do.
Thannk goodness my flowergirl dresses came. That is the last 'big' thing scratched off my list.

I am actually sleeping through the night, but I think it is because I fall into bed exhausted every night. I feel like I am constantly going every minute that I am not sleeping between work, commuting to/from the city, wedding planning, Christmas shopping, looking for a house, etc.

My FH jokingly said that after the wedding I will be able to get a second job since I will have so much time on my hands.

I was going to and then I had my shower on Saturday, so now I need to do Thank Yous first
and btw that and the actual Wedding invite, stuffing and etc. I was thinking of passing and maybe sending out some Email greetings instead.

I cant believe I am even saying this, its just that christmas is 2 weeks away and I have like no time and I am sick.

I have done no shopping at all yet.

this is going to be the weirdest christmas of all.

I am going head piece shopping on friday in the city, after me and one of my bridesmaids hits spa - I really need the massage badly.

We sent christmas cards... only because we have addresses this year. I haven't started christmas shopping, but then again, i usually don't ever start until the weekend before.

I don't think that i'm all that stressed yet. Is that a problem? I haven't even lost any weight... kind of upsetting... but hey, what'cha gonna do?!

The church I'm getting married at told us tyo go to go to the Town of Hempstead to get our marriage licenses. They said it is always empty and the process is quick. We'll probably go sometime in Feb.

I haven't evn thought about Christmas shopping or Christmas cards. I was out sick withthe flu and now I am trying to catch up at work.
