Hey AmyKay Congrats,
You are getting married the day after me. Hopefully it will be a clear forecast for the whole weekend.

About dress shopping if you find a dress you want I bet you they can get it to you in time, I think that all thing with it taking so long is the some what BS, it seems when you tell them your date they wait for ever to mail it out.

I order my dress in late Sept and people thought I was crazy. Whatever!

and if they say it wont be in, there are always rush charges. i dont think you need to buy off the rack unless you find your perfect dress there.
But I would suggest shopping right away. BUT have fun with it.

What other vendors do you need to still book?

I am getting married the weekend after you, and I am planning on sending out my invites before January 15th (I have a February 14th response date). I know it is a little early, but I wanted to have plenty of time to call all those that do not send in the response cards.

I am thinking of sending mine out around Dec 15th, i know everyone says you shouldnt send with Christmas rush but I want to give everyone time and advance notice. I will probably to a return date around Feb 14th too

Yeah! A March 2003 group! My dress just came in last weekend so that is done. I ordered the invites a couple of weeks ago. Our RSVP is 2/28 so I guess we will send them out mid January. I sent the STDs like 3 weeks ago. Most big stuff is done, except the transport and that is because I have been too lazy to drive out to sign the contract. I am planning on getting alot of the little stuff like headpiece, shoes, gifts, programs done in December when I have 3 weeks off from school. Time is flying ladies!!

I looked at dresses tonight and will look again this weekend. I hope to order my dress next week. (I have 1 so far I really like!)

I have no other vendors booked, yet.

I want to find my invitations this weekend also!

YEAAAAAH MARCH BRIDES!!!!!!! Congrats Amy and to all of you March ladies. I am March 1st, 2003 at the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho.

I bet we'll have a wonderful month! My invitations will be ready by December 1. Laura from LA Productions will be making them for me. I'm getting so excited as the day approaches. We planned on sending our invites out between December 10-16th the latest, with a RSVP date of January 25th.

AKATYME--08 - I dont think that is too late for your invites. You will be the first March bride to go. wow!!

I just ordered my invites today and should be to me in less then 2 weeks. I have to decide on my response date still.

With sending them it will all depend on when the calliography gets done a co worker offered to do it for me.

Now we are planning our honeymoon, so many decisions

Our ceremony is at 3pm
and I have been bouncing back and forth btw 630 pm and 7pm for cocktail hour to start. right now i am back to 7pm

My wedding is on a Sunday, the ceremony will be at 11:15am, cocktail hour is 12:00. I also have pre-ceremony tea and coffee and muffins at 10:30 for any early guests.

I looked at invitations this afternoon, we need to decide between two. One is extremely plain/classic and the other is smaller with embossed flowers.

I'm going to Macy's Sunday with my mom to hopfully pick out my dress.
Can anyone post a picture of your dress???? I would love to see

My ceremony is 4 pm and cocktails start at 6. My church is really lax about the starting time thing so we just picked 4 and now that the inviations are in I am just nervous that the church is now going to say that time doesn't work for them. Having the invites in by the way, makes everything seem so real. I was deciding between 6 and 7 for cocktails, but we went with 6 so there will be time for an after party!!

I am using VIP for photos and In Full Bloom for flowers. Love them both. I think Kim is using VIP also, aren't you Kim?

I attached a picture of my dress, except the sleeves were cut off so it is just straight across strapless.

Are you all going on your honeymoons right away?

Hi March ladies!!!

For photos we are using John Pagano @ VIP Studios. For flowers I am still undecided. I will either do the Milleridge Florist or Flowerden. I also wanted to check out Flower Michelle.

This morning I had an appointment with Flowerden. I liked Gigi, the florist, a lot and all of her creative ideas but on my way home I got into a car accident.

FH and I will be taking a Royal Carribbean, Western Carribean Cruise immediately following the wedding. Reception will end at 1am and we're scheduled to catch a 7am flight.

YAHHHHHH for all VIPers. I'm really confident in their photographic talent.

I am having a candle light ceremony at the Milleridge at 7:30-8pm. Guests will arrive at 7pm and champagne and fruit will be served. Not thrilled that the cocktail hour will begin so late but, I guess it'll be okay because it's a Saturday night.

I was thinking of using Flowerden for my flowers too but ended up with a really good price from A florid affair.

Trying to save money anyway we can.

I am on my computer at home and have all my wedding stuff on computer at work, will show pic of wedding dress Monday.

I can see pic as clear on this computer, dresses are beautiful.

working on honeymoon, wont be leaving the next day though, so far it would be monday. Norweigian crusie around Hawaii.

Getting married in March 2004, I have all the vendors done except left to do is the veil, florist, invitations,tuxs and ordering BM gowns. I wish ours was a few months away. My dress in MonCheri style B188 , I do not have a scanner, but you can see it online. It is the same company that made the bridal gown for the tv show, Friends. Lets hope the weather is good in March. HURRAY FOR MARCH BRIDES!
