M&M's DISASTER

OK so, While I was @ job #2 today, our personalized M&M's arrived at my house that we are using as part of our favors for the engagement party. I ran home before racing to FH's house to see American Idol on TIVO (I got out of work @ 9), ripped open the box and saw our aqua and white M&M's which read the following...

Here's the best part - the party is 6/14/08

The WEDDING is on the 25th of July... next year-
This is a sign that I need to slow down.

FH laughed at me - but then he said that we will go to Party City and buy the solid colored ones to replace the dated ones. Then he helped me seperate the mistakes. I'm still upset.

Did you check the order form? Are you sure you made the mistake and not them? They're usually pretty good about replacing them when that happens.

It seems as if M&M makes mistakes on these ALL OF THE TIME! Make sure it was you & then see if they will replace them.

quick question though...how did the writing look on the M&M's. I'm looking to do the samething.

FH and I just put together our personalized M&M favors for our eparty this wknd. Fh actually dissected the M&Ms (while I ate them...) and found that the writing is actually on the M&M (similar to thermography - slightly raised). I think they look AWESOME and I'll post pics later today. We bought the 5lb bag of wedding colors, 3lbs of the same, unprinted mix at dylan's candy bar and filled 70 2oz tins.

i would contact them and tell them about the mishap im sure they will do something to fix the problem - even if its some kind of a discount on a new order

Check the order form and make sure you wrote it out correct. Even if you did it wrong, maybe they can do something to help you out. Good luck.

Awww... I'm sorry - I would be upset as well. But maybe you can call and tell them about the mistake. they should be replacing the mistake M&M's and send them to you at no charge before your e-party.
