I know it is totally not a plausible option, but I really wish we had an 'anonymous' option. You know, when someone posts a picture of something and you just REALLY want to say things like: it's just not flattering on you or those are ugly BM dresses.
But.... you don't. Because you don't want to be 'mean' or 'harsh' or 'rude' or start drama. So you either go with a 'that's nice' or you just skip the thread all together.
I would like an anonymous button so that you can say the things you truly feel without people knowing who you are. I can see how it wouldn't work on this kind of site, but that is just what I would like.

i think that part of the reason LIW works so well is that we are partly anonymous, since most people don't really know each other, but we 'know' each other just enough to prevent outright rudeness. i think it's a good thing for us to check ourselves and not say things like 'ew, that's an ugly BM dress.' it's more helpful to the brides on here if we can say nicely, 'i don't think that dress would flatter all body types' or 'i like that dress but i am not a fan of that color' or something like that. we are all looking for input here, good and bad, or else we wouldn't post - basically, a post is a request for an opinion!

I think its a good idea but I think it just saves the drama if we just dont reply to anything we dont like. Unless they ask for a serious opinion. I appreciated when I posted about whether anyone liked a pair of shoes I bought. I wasnt upset about it. I really valued everyones opinions. And a lot of people were honest and said they didnt like them.

To be honest with you i think it's best to be honest. I personally rather get the truth then b.s. Most times i just keep my mouth shut if I dont like something cuz I dont want to be the 'mean' one

I would like for people to answer me honestly. Sometimes we can't see things w/ our own eyes. I would LOVE someone to tell me 'choice 1 is hideous! go w/ #2' or something like that. If girls here don't like it, other probably feel the same way, accept they'll be @ my wedding saying it!

i'm not sure if that's a good idea or not, i see your reasoning behind it though. this place would definitely be a zoo if we had that option. i personally have no problem telling someone i don't like something, or otherwise i just keep my opinions to myself.

soo true. and also putting an anonymous option makes it hard to know whos being fake. id rather the friends i have on here be honest with me because they can be posting to me one way with their username and then other way with their anonymous option. id rather know whos being real.
