I don't think she is really defending herself- there is no need to, no one was attacking her.

I agree with her (you) 100%- I do not think you are a hypocrite, if you are I am one too.

I was just saying, if you start a thread like this you have to expect a thread like the one this has become.

I should ahve known, after my vegetarian wedding post a few months ago. I just aked for people's opinions on food, and I got everyone's opinions on my beliefs, and not in a nice way, either.

i understand your point and respect your feelings. you have EVERY right to dictate what happens at YOUR wedding. however, what your cousin chooses to do at her wedding, is HER decision. as hard as it may be for you, you have to take the high road and not express your discontent/disgust in re: to her choice of attire

look at the postive side, at least you are not in the wedding party or better yet, the invite didn't read, 'Fur Coat Optional'.
