but I was just on BHB and there was a post about showing e-rings and I love seeing everyones rings
However, the post promted this question for you: do you think it is necessary to let other people know how big your stone is and/or are you insulted/annoyed when people in 'real life' ask you the size??? I think it is a very obnoxious question. Who gives a crap how big it is??
Sorry JMO and Im tired of people doing it to me and to my friends.

Just wanted to point out..
If anyone would ever think that diamond size can be equated to true love, lets examine Paris and Paris. Lol. Big rock...tons of money....engagement over after a few months...and she's moved on big time...just wanted to put it in perspective!

Excellent point! I think it's really sad that people get so caught up in the materialistic things that they lose sight of what is really important.

Re: Not being rude....
I don't care when people ask me.... I like my ring.
It's the nicest piece of jewelry I own....
If it was a necklace and someone asked me, would I care? No.
I love my ring, it's not the nicest ring in the world or anything, but I'm proud of it!

i agree with u all. .5 carat ring could be as beautiful as 3 carat ring. people shouldn't ask the size of the stone
I agree. I have seen some real cloudy 'big' rings. But,l everyone is different...some people may prefer quantity over quality. I dont' have a big ring at all, but I love it and I picked it and I wouldn't change it for the world!

As I was leaving for lunch I was thinking that it was tacky how people were posting the size of their rings-I mean why not just post what he paid for it? I posted my picture, but that is it. I was told and always thought it was not proper to do that. I don't know.
I totaly agree with you:)
