Numbering RSVP's
I saw this thread on another wedding board site, and I haven't seen it posted here (since I've been obsessively stalking these boards since I found them :D). Seems to be very helpful, so I wanted to share. We're going to discreetly number the RSVP's on the backside. The first set of numbers (1-100 or whatever my number turns out to be) for my side's invites and 101-200 for my fiance's invites.
This will just ensure we know exactly who RSVP'd. I've seen some funny posts of people returning RSVP cards with no names and just a number or like this 'me and a guest.' Hahahaha!
We'll coordinate on a spreadsheet what number goes with which couple/family invited so we can easily tell who hasn't RSVP'd and remind them.
I love useful tips like these, so if you have any others, please share!

We actually did that as we received one who did not sign the RSVP. We also received one who commented they were happy they made the top 30. Lol very helpful tip

I am doing this. I went to a wedding in May and I saw the bride numbered the RSVP cards and I was like that is such a great idea! So you know exactly who to track down and if someone sent back a blank card.

Is it ok to make it obvious or should it be kind of hidden?

Most suggested to do it on the back in pencil, so it's a less obvious. Others bought a special marker that writes invisible but you shine a light on it and it shows up. I'm putting mine on the back in pencil. If anyone asks, it's not a rank or anything...just a way to stay organized.

I wrote it on the back, but didn't end up needing them, all of my guests were courteous! lol! I was invited to a wedding last year where the bride forgot to put a line on the RSVP for the person's name and also didn't number the cards. I didn't envy her and sorting all of that out! LOL!

I wish I would have purchased that..invisible pen, I have about 11 with no name. I am still trying to figure out who would think that is okay to mail it back with no name. Some of them don't evem have if they Re attending or not!
