NWR- Cactus Hair Salon- UPDATE

Went there for the first time last weekend had a full set of highlights done to freshen up my hair,,, like it DOWN when I left,,,, called back 3 days later and tried to get my stylist on the phone because when I put my hair UP it looks like I never had it done!! I have brown hair. She never called me back,, I paid $145- and dont like it...It looks 'unfinished'!!!!!
I am going to the salon tommarow to complain, not only for not receiving a call back, but to see if they can fix it

UPDATE->
I have an appointment on Friday to go over the areas that the salon manager agrees on with me that were 'missed'. There will be no charge. They were more than accomodating and understanding!

She definatly new I wanted a full head. I told her I wante my roots touched up too, and she did that on the top of my head, but I dont know if maybe she didnt realize when I pulll my hair back that you see brown for an inch.
I think it is an easy fix...

well then that's really bad. let us know what happens when you go back!

I have heard that several people have had problems there...sorry to hear that...hope it all works out

Good Luck. . .They should fix it for you. If they don't I would call somebody higher up and make a complaint and let them know that you'll spread the word on how unprofessional they are.

That really stinks. They should definitely be able to fix it for you. I have been to the cactus in Massapequa and in Holtsville and they always say if you have an issue to let them know. If you are really disappointed I know of a good salon in Sayville but I know thats not the point because you just spent all of this money. Well Good Luck and I hope they can help you.

If you paid that much for your hair You shouldnt have to pay for them to fix it the way you like. I have had to go back once to Maximus in Merrick and they fixed it for me no charge. Good luck

WOW- that's is ridiculous. And she wont call back ?!?!?! I would definitely just show up then too! You wuold thing for that much $ they would know what they are doing.

My mom used to go to the one in commack and then she became unhappy with how they were doing her hair so she stopped going. I GO to an amazing salon now I love it. They are soo awesome. They are in saint james though I don't know if thats nears you. It's called TRU salon. I love it they give you wine while you wait. Everybody there is so awesome I use Gloria I have never been happier with my hair.

Ohh wow, sorry you had a bad experience. I go to the Cactus in Plainview and I love it there. I would definitely complain or go down there.
