Why are you getting them a gift? Are you close? I think most employers dont accept gifts from their staff for obvious reasons. However - what about some sort of speciality food like steaks from the midwest or tropical fruit or really good cookies?

How much are you looking to spend? The fact that they are rich is really irrelevant, its not like you would buy a poor boss a practical gift - you just want to say thank you for giving me a job. I think a restaurant gift certificate would be appreciated if you know what type of food they like, a bottle of wine, chocolates unless they are health food junkies...

This is what I got so far..

1000 gift card from Bloomies...

500 to Sacks....

2000 to Berfdorf Goodmans........

My bonus was AMAZING.. It will pay for my whole wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got alot of alcohol and alot of fruit...

But I want to get something nice. .They are GREAT to me here!

Well for my HEad boss. I bought for his daughter a fur coat and stuff she asked me for...

This is the Owner of the company and for my 'E' gift he gave me way to much $$ and a bottle of DOM P.

Well then, its all about brand name! Tiffany would be a good place to shop. Or how about tickets to a broadway show with gift certificate to a really nice restaurant in the city?

Good for you!! As for getting your boss gifts -- I went through that every year, but you no what, they have millions, so whatever you get is just a token of appreciation to them. Alcohol is always good or if they smoke cigars....

I know. The bosses here are very generous.. But its nice since I work hard......

I thought a nice Play.. He is dying to see Momma Mia.. So I just called the ticket broker the co uses and he is trying to get me tickets......

I told you I am never organized. I will be shopping on the EVE!!!

They always get gift cards bc they are easy and you can get them online!

What do you do for a living?

(Nice bonus' are not uncommon but I never heard of a boss giving $1K + gifts to their staff before. Just curious what industry you work in.)
