Its a highlight kit from Revlon. My friend has dark brown hair and used that shade and it looks great. (I wouldn't recommend doing at home highlights, though. I tried once and it came out BAD!!) But, I do think that highlights in that shade would look nice with your original haircolor.

you look awesome as a brunette- if you don't want anything too drastic highlight with lighter shades of brown

ohhh I didnt read the bottom of the box that says highlights in caps, hahahhaha. One year I did that highlight comb streaks thing and my hair came out orange so thats why I stay away from those things. I will ask my lady also what she thinks bec she has been doing my hair for years. Thank you very much for your reply .

Go for it, if you dont like them you still have time to get your hair brown again.

I get highlights. I go dark in the winter and light in the summer. I don't tell my colorist what to do, I just tell him, it's time to go darker and he works his magic. He is the best!
Yeah Im doing the opposite, I went dark for the summer and going lighter for the winter , lol.
I used to always do that I love blonde in the winter and dark hair/ w/ a tan in the summer.. I really like blonde on u but dont do it lol

I think, and this is my personal opinion only, that dark brunettes should avoid blonde highlights. It looks too unnatural. IF you like that funky, chunky look...then go for it! If not, I'd go with a red of some sort...a deep burgandy or red wine color would look great.

Re: NWR: Should I do it??
I think people get carried away with highlights..they are supposed to look like a HIGHLIGHT aka looks like you are standing in the sun and your hair is lit up a little. They are not supposed to look like a total contrast of lines lolz..
I think you should keep your hair dark..it looks HOTT!! If you want some change, tell your stylist that you want to have a color that just brightens up your face a little. Just do a few highlights of like a deep caramel or chestnut brown around your face. Blonde is too drastic!!
Good luck!! Share pics!!

Re: NWR: Should I do it??
go for it! but just keep in mind , is this the look you want for your wedding..good luck! also your hair is kind of dark (like mine) so get thinner more natural highlights if you do it..chunky doesn't look right ! (trust me ..from experience!) My highlights show most in my epics and makeup trial..check it out if you want!

Re: NWR: Should I do it??
SInce your wedding is still 9 months or so away I say go for some caramel highlites.
I am debating with myself on whether or not to get my hair back to its natural color since I am broke and now ive come to learn I have 'Hollywood trash' hair .. I want it all one color for the wedding, but I have extremely pale skin with very dark brown hair so i look ghostly with my natural color..

Re: NWR: Should I do it??
i love funky, crazy hair - i think its sexy even when it looks totally fake im not into make up but i am into crazy, wild colored hair.....i dont really doing anything crazy with my hair but when i see it on other girls i LOVE it.....so i think im def going to do something wild with it before the wedding b/c i am getting soooo bored with it! but anway i am rambling...sorry!
but anyway BRUNETTE all the way - BRUNETTES are SOOOO HOT! I love love love dark hair!!! and you look great with dark hair!
but if you are bored go for it and do some highlights - the worst that can happen is you dont like it and then just re-dye those pieces brown again! i vote do it!!

in my ramblings i forgot to say that you have such a pretty face that no matter what colors you do it will look great! i think girls with pretty faces like yours can do anything with their hair and it will look beautiful!

I say reddish brown. I agree with whoever said that sometimes bright blonde highlights on dark brown hair look a little funky.

Re: NWR: Should I do it??
THank You, thank you, thank you to all the girls that suggested to go with caramel highlights. I only did some at the top but still have alot of my original color showing. Im happy with the outcome. Its like a honey, caramel, darker than blonde. I decided for my wedding I will stick with my original hair color like the one in my trial album. I feel I kinda look weird but have to get used to it. It def makes around my face more brighter.
