Let me pick your brains...
Where have your FH gotten their tuxes from?
I am going with the guys tomorrow to RSVP in Commack. I know someone who used them and didn't have any problems. I will let you know how they are.
where is this?
Sorry, I just saw this. They are on Commack Road. If you are heading north it is right before Jericho tpke. If you go, I suggest that you make an appt. A couple of people I know said that I didn't need to make one and we had to wait a while. Once they got to us they were great. They have the tuxes and everything there for the guys to try on. I don't really know how much tuxes cost to rent but I was expecting them to be cheaper. The BM said that he paid the same though when he got married. I think that Men's Whse is cheaper.

Re: October Girls Update
Hi Girls!!! I went to the post office during lunch and I got my $.37 stamps (they're flowers). I have to assemble the actual invitations then go get them weighed, then I can buy the stamps for the outside. Hope to get them out by Aug 16...keep your fingers crossed.

Re: October Girls Update
I just mailed my first 2 invitations! I'm so excited.I jsut maield those 2 because they are moving next week & I don't want them to get caught up in the forwarding process. For everyone else I am waiting for my maps that should arrive Friday. I explaiend ot ym uncle that his won't have directions, but his daughter is my BM so they will all me at my mom's hosue anyway.
We had a productive weekend & week so far:
Saturday asked my aunt to be a reder
Sunday asked Fh's aunt, picked up rings, ordered tuxes, picked up envelopes.
Monday bought stamps
Tuesday, stamped envelopes, numbered response cards. counted out 55 of everything.
harased map people. Stuffed 2 envelopes.
Wednesday. Approved map. Mailed 2 invites.
I can't wait to mail the rest. I am a envelope stuffing pro (lots of experience at my job!) so I may do them all my self as soon as I get home from work Friday afternoon.

I have my first fitting tomorrow night. Mainly because the dress must have been made for an amazon, I need 3 1/2' taken off the bottom and that's with heels!

Oh no date twin, I haven't even sent mine out yet! You are makignme feellike a slacker.
This weekend though. I can't wait to get Rsvps!
Trying to guess who the first person to say no will be. I think my Boss. He lives in Maine most of the week.
I don't think envelope stuffing is that hard, but I didn't do it yet. I only have 55 invites & 1 extra enclosure. everything is labelled & counted out & ready to go.
I guess it would have been a PIA if I had to address them, but FH's aunt caligraphied them.

Fifty-Five envelopes??? That's it?!?! Oh girl, you have nothing to fear -- that's not going to be bad AT ALL! I had to stuff over 100 mailing TUBES (I had scrolls) PLUS roll everything in tissue paper!!!!
Oh and don't worry -- you're not a slacker -- I STILL HAVE about 20 invites that need to go but I'm waiting on FH to get me ADDRESSES!! Ugh, men!

Last night MOH, FH, MOB and B2B (that's me!)worked on invitations, we're getting there. Tonight will put the finishing touches on them and have them weighed at the post office to find out the stamps we'll need! Isn't this fun?
