Hey October ladies!

I'm working on invitations this weekend too! The calligraphied envelopes are arriving today from LA Productions and I need to start practicing the faux wax seals.

What do you do if the postage is, say, 45 cents? Do you just stick 2 37 cent stamps on there or one cute LOVE stamp and one ugly other stamp?

most invitations i have gotten have had a 60 cent stamp on them. they have nice ones.

my invites went out this past Saturday and i have gotten about 12 RSVP's back!! I am sure they will trickle in over the next weeks

we are printing out our direction cards right now. it is taking forever, but not as long as it did to do the envelopes. hopefully we will get them stuffed this week. and out by next week. i am getting so excited!!!

I just sent mine out on Saturday!

The hardest part was sealignthem. The adhesive didn't work, neither did the glue stick I bought, so we went back to Staples & bought 2 types of glues & picked up one FH had at his parent's house.
The clear glue in a tube ( Staples brand) worked the best.

No I mostly need to shop for stuff. . .

Congrats to all the brides that mailed out their invites!!! Woo-hoo!! Let the RSVPs start pouring in!! I mailed out another (late) batch this weekend also and I've gotten about 13 RSVPs!!

But more importantly - I got my corset, finished the template for my menus, the template for my votive place cards, started on my seating arrangements, and ordered the organza bags for my favors!!

Oct.2004Bride -- I can't wait to see pics from your fitting!! My 1st fitting is exactly one week after yours!!

OMG, EVERYBODY is saying yes so far. Even a bunch we thought were NO's for sure! Why do they like us so much!!!! we invited 160ish hoping to get closer to 125-130. We MIGHT get the whole 160!!!!

Now, dont get me wrong, I am actually glad all these folks are coming, its just so expensive!!!!

At least a bunch of my college girlfriends from out of town are coming (they are a real fun bunch) and they are opting to leave their husbands home it seems (for various reasons). I think they will have a great time coming stag, like a reunion! (and I don't have to pay for the hubby)
