I finally orderd church flowers satruday( specific florist-not the one for my regular flowers)
Pew bows with flowers cost $35! so we only have 4 of those & the rest plain.

We also had our tasting & menu planning with the hall which went really well.

And Sunday we booked our shore excursions for the cruise!

Tonight we have to fill out the band questionaire. & wrote a check for the other florsit. I realy need to get mvoign on programs & placecards & figure out how I want to make them. That's my last major thing that has to be started, everything else just needs to be finished up.

My tasks for the week are

Today: Take gown to seamstress for first fitting. Also find an outfit for what I think is my shower this weekend, but they say it's FH's Aunt and Uncle's 30th wedding anniversary party.

Tue: Hopefully get FH and his father and brother (BM) to get tuxes. This is a very difficult task

and the rest of the week I will play by ear. I am ready to go to Vegas and call the whole thing off

i sent my invitations out on thursday some people got them on friday and i got 4 response cards today! that made me smile. they were all yes!

We haven't done RD yet - FFIL says he'll do it , but he doesn't know LI & he has been working all the time.


What did you look at in Things Remebered? FH has no idea what to get his GM, but he siad he'd handle it, so I am not thinking abotu it too much.

We have to work on parents & readers though.

I finally got my stepmonster something.

My jewerly store (where all our rings were bought) gives $100 for your birthday.

In March (Jim's bday) we got my father's 'Father of the Bride' cufflinks for free (actual price was $100)

This time (August) was mine, so I got my stepmonster some nice gold knot earrings. They were $175 but on sale. So they took off 30% then took off $100. We walked out with those earrings in a pretty box for $24!!!!

Gotta love it.

we are going to get rings today and other jewelery hopefully. my mom sent the jewler pictures of what we want. hopefully he'll be able to get it. we shall see.

and bed, bath and beyond is awesome. we went yesterday to return stuff...we had no gift receipts...they didn't even look up my registry, they scanned everything and gave us the full price. i know that the people used the 20% coupons. we got store credit because i know if we didn't we would use it for other stuff. we need tons at bbb for the house.

Hi girls!!! RSVPs are coming in slowly but surely! I worked on the programs last night. I can't believe I actually have to pick out the readings and such! Seems like only yesterday we met with the priest for the first time to pick a date!!!

FH is moving into our apartment on Monday so we've been packing all our stuff from the shower.

I ordered 'bells' for when we come out of the church instead of bubbles they will ring their bells.

Ordered tuxes on Saturday. FH is in all white (black tux, white tie, vest and shirt) GM are in a grey vest with grey tie. It will compliment the silver in the girls dresses. The silver looked too light (almost groom-like) Fathers will be in a black tux with a black bow-tie and vest.

Where has the time gone....so much to do, so little time. I'm glad I'm getting married at the end of October. It gives me 2 1/2 weeks of more time.

I accomplished absolutely nothing today except giving myself a headache.

My mom's friend who is decorating the champagne flutes accidentally broke one, so now my mom has to go and find some new ones that are just as pretty. Then her and I start getting agitated with each other because most of her's and my dad's side said they were coming (all live out of state) and now have decided they aren't going to come. We found a hall that made us guarantee 170 people because they were all supposed to come and I had no worries about making my minimum and now I probably won't even have enough people to meet my minimum!! I really want to curl up into a ball and go to sleep and wake up Oct 10th

Sorry so sad, the stress is catching up to me

With just about a week left to my RSVP date, I have only gotten back about half.


Come on people, just check a box and stick the freakin' things in the mail. You don't even need to look for a stamp

Now I know how it feels when I used to wait until the last minute before the due date to RSVP.
I will NEVER do that again.
Oh, do you know how many I got today....... a big fat Zero!

we got lots accomplished yesterday...

we went to the city, and my fi got his wedding band. we ordered mine.

my fi got me diamind/pearl earrings to wear for the day, and my dad bought me the ring that matches.

we returned some other stuff to bed and bath and picked new stuff, that was fun.

we have 5 responses so far, and i only sent the invites out on thrusday.

we got a phone call from our lawyer that they are ready to go on the house, now we are just waiting for the mortgage company to get ready. i really hope that we close soon because it willbe such a relief for me!

thanks...i want the process to be over. i have never argues so much with fi as we do about this house stuff...it is all so confusing, and we are both stressed about it. we are like the blind leading the blind. i just want it over with.

i had my first fitting today....my bra is no good....i am so annoyed because i thought i was done and it was so hard to find in my size. i need a seemless long line bra with a long back...felina has one that will work, but i don't know where to go so that i can try it on. they didn't have it in bridal reflections in my size.
