Re: October Girls Update

i had my first fitting today....my bra is no good....i am so annoyed because i thought i was done and it was so hard to find in my size. i need a seemless long line bra with a long back...felina has one that will work, but i don't know where to go so that i can try it on. they didn't have it in bridal reflections in my size.

Can you get cups sewn in? Thats what I am going to do - takes the hassle out of finding a bra.

Keep the Fox Hollow nice for me the following weekend!!!

Re: October Girls Update

Do you guys have your timeline set yet for the day of the wedding. I am really afraid I am going to be late if I don't find someone for hair and makeup soon.

Congrats!! No pics?? My bra didn't work out for me either and I ended up having to buy one at Bridal Reflections.... $90 You can try Georgette's in Hicksville (on Rt 107) for a bra. Good luck!

My mom went to Mary's last week for her bra. They were really helpful to her. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time there. She was there for 3 hours (2 hours of waiting since it is first come, first serve). She said it was worth it though.

Re: October Girls Update

my mom got hers in Georgette's.
I got mine ( more $$) in Town Shop in Manhattan. it is by Ferlina. My fitting is today , so I will see if it will work. If not I guess I can buy something from the bridal shop, but I don't know how many DD's they keep on hand

Oct.2004bride- FH thoguht about pocket watches- I am getting him one, but he doesn't know that (I hope) but he doesn't know if his GM will like it or if its just his taste.

We can afford $60, we only have 2 Gms & I spent more than that on my Bms .

Re: October Girls Update

My bra didn't work for my fitting either - I ended up going with cups. I was so disappointed - I really wanted to wear a corset and be all sexy bride like under my dress - now its just me and some undies

I set our florist appointment and my second fitting appointment (hopefully my last!!!)

Re: October Girls Update

I am bidding on that bra on EBAY. They have a few of them in different sizes. If you find one and try it on somewhere, you might want to try ebay first, before you shell out the cash.

they have a similar one in victoria's secret, they don't come in my size 34DD, but they had no 34D and the 36D didn't fit right. i just went to macy's, bloomingdales, lord and taylor and saks and no one has that felina bra.

i hate bras...

Re: October Girls Update

Is everyone starting to reconfirm or meet with vendors to finalize arrangements? I just started to do this since we booked everything so far in advance. I feel like otherwise they might forget us.
