Is everyone starting to reconfirm or meet with vendors to finalize arrangements? I just started to do this since we booked everything so far in advance. I feel like otherwise they might forget us.

What are you finalizing and how? This sounds like a good idea but I wouldn't even know what to do or where to start.

I emailed my band, we are going to set up a day in September to meet to go over songs, etc.

Have been in regular touch with Laurie (LA Blossom), she's very responsive

I need to meet with Danford's, I've been on the phone with them a lot, they are very nice I just haven't had time

I will see Laura from LA Productions again, just had a meeting last month (she's my coordinator)

I suggest emailing and just saying Hi, anything we need to talk about? And if there is anything on your minfd, bring it up now, and maybe remind them of what it is you want and/or are contracted for (like Hi remember I'm the crazy bride who wants blue elephant flower c-pieces?
Just an example!)

I just made an appointment with Burtun's to go over flowers on 9/18.

I have a hair and makeup trial on 9/11 before my fitting.

Our band sent us a 'wedding package' (how we want to be announced, songs to play, etc)for us to fill out and return.

Rehearsal is set.

Menu meeting at NRC is Tuesday.

I'm hoping t schedule e-pics with 12th Night in September and go over our must take list.

Am I missing anyone?

Yes, I made an appointment with my hall to finalize our menu and decide on our cake... I have to contact the photo/video people and my florist too though.... THEY haven't contacted ME which I find strange...

Holy cow, I guess I should get on the 'ball.' FH and I get our apartment on the 30th so packing has taken up my life for the past week and a half since the shower. That's a very good idea to call and confirm, you don't think it's too early if I'm at the end of Oct?

I guess I keep telling myself I HAVE TIME but I'm not quite sure where the time is going!!!

Mine says 65 days! YIKES!!

I'm just touching base with my vendors and setting up meetings to review the contract again and finalize things we may not have done yet like song lists and special requests with the DJ, # of pew bows and ribbon colors on corsages with the florist, schedule of the day with photographers etc....

This weekend I'm making room in my old bedroom at my Dad's house for shower gifts. I don't know when it is, but it must be coming!

i have 56 more days...

i am still on the mission to find that bra. i've emailed some places on line and no place so far seems to have it in stock. i'll try david's bridal this weekend i think.

i set up my appointment to meet with the hall, but i have to reschedule it because we are closing on our house that day now....i really can't believe it. we just found out today.

i made my second fitting appointment, but that might have to get changed too if i can't find this bra....oh well...such is life

we've gotten 35 responses out of 118 already, and i sent them out a week ago. i am hoping a few more people say no, or decide to come without a guest. we shall see.

YES! I called my favors vender, hair and make-up...to get specific details about everything...and to give a friendly reminder

I called my band and photographer...both were very nice but both told me it was too early to finalize anything bc they have like 20 weddings in the meantime and to call back a couple of weeks before the wedding. They are probably right, but I want to get things done now!

everyone get lots done this weekend? or did you just realx.

My fi and i didn't do too much. i printed out the numbers for placedards, but i really think that was about it.

we went to home depot and lowes and were trying to figure out what we need to do what we want in the house.

i looked at paint colors.

this week i have..
engagement pictures tomorrow...i hope it is nice out.
i have to call about dance lessons. it was put on hold because i broke my toe a week ago
call the priest
call for music at the church
send my thank you's from the shower. i can't believe how many i had to write. lots of people that weren't there sent gifts.

53 days...i can't believe it!

Hi GIRLS!!! 54 days left. FH has taken off and FINALLY he is moving into our apartment. We were able to move in on the 30th and I can't believe TODAY is the 30th! It went SOOOOooooooooOOO fast. We bought some things we needed this weekend like pillows, shower curtain etc... I'm waiting for FH to call me on our NEW phone to tell me it's hooked up. Still getting responses, NO no's YET!!!

Can't wait to post from our new apartment, I'll keep you updated!!!

60 days left! We spent the weekend putting away the last of our shower gifts and returning some stuff.

I finallly got in touch with the ceremony musician and decided on our ceremony music.

Tomorrow I have a meeting at the hall to finalize the menu, etc.

What a coincidence! My FH is moving in today and we are also getting married on 10/23. I am so excited too- can't wait to finally start using all of the shower/engagement presents!!!
