i just needed to share this because i think it is kind of funny.

1 of my crystal wine glasses is off the registry. it says wants 12 needs 11.

My mom and I have been discussing the registry and we are finding the things that disappear at one time, and the things people have bought first very interesting.

the wine glass got the both of us laughing so hard we could hardly talk. then my brother chimed in a said if he came over to dinner at our house he wanted 'THE GLASS'

Were they expensive?
Maybe someone is buying in installments.

My boss bought me one place setting, but I guess that's different. I did end up getting all 12 from a combination of people.

They weren't too expensive, i understand the place settings, but 1 wine glass is a little strange. it just made me chuckle.

I think that the one glass thing is funny too.

At my shower one of my guests gave me 4 highball (game in a set) and one of my goblets. And for some reason we find the one glass thing funny too. It has nothing to do with the money spent or anything like that. For some reason getting one glass (as opposed to a pair) strikes me funny.

ETA: My response- it didn't come up.

sounds really nice where did you go?

I think we have picked out ours too, they said to come back in september and they would measure everyone.

we went to the mens warehouse.

I thought the black vests might be too much but i couldn't find a vest that
would match the BM's dresses (wine) They were either tooo red or tooo
purple..So went went with the black
I was nervous that it would be too formal for a day wedding but
who cares anyway?

I wanted to do the platinum vests too. But IMO, you have to have white shirts with them
And since my dress is in off-white i felt all the men should be too.
Again IMO, i think having the groom in off-white nad the groomsmen in
white shirts look wierd in pics.

aahhh....i've seen some pictures that you really can't even tell...i guess i'll have to see...the bridal salon was actually who suggested platinum...i don't really want black...

eta: my dress is ivory also...when i go for my fitting i think that i may ask again what they think...my fi really wants platinum for the guys, so we shall see...

when we went they never even mentioned anything...they just said the guys shouod wear white, even though the groom is in ivory. now i am paranoid...

I didn't do finals yet

i made the appointment because i know that after september 23 things are going to be crazy for me because the clinical hours at grad school will be taking up all my time.

just call up...i am sure that you can make it. they do them mon-thursday i think, but they only have 3 appointment slots each night.
