I know they redid the bathroom when i was last there in March, I go back in May for the next payment... hoping it will be done by the summer. Can't wait to see it.

How does the upstairs bathroom look?

We chose Alberto's team today too! I am so excited. I didn't know they were doing any renovations. Have you heard of anything else?

Okay, so I'm a little annoyed. I got FM from a girl on here telling me that she went to a tasting at CLM and the food was not impressive. Why would she tell me that knowing that I booked with them???

hey I haven't been to the tasting yet but I have been to an event there and the food was excellent. I am really picky when it comes to food so I wouldn't have even considered booking there if i thought that the food wasn't good.

I was thinking about doing a ceiling treatment if they aren't redone by then.. Don't know how much that would cost though.

So far I have dj, photo/video, dress, hall obvi, and a wedding planner. I went with Velvet. I like them a lot

Yeah I'm pretty sure its just them. I booked After Hours and they do a ton of weddings there including TWOTY. Love them!

Good news ladies! My FH's coworker attended a wedding at CLM this weekend and said it was wonderful!! The food was great...she had the filet mignon. She also said that the DJ was outstanding! She said no one left the dance floor. The DJ was Unlimited Entertainment. I am definitely going to take them into consideration!

How many of you are getting married at CLM? I was wondering if we could share ideas about how to decorate for the ceremony.

I am going to use the chapel regardless of how the weather is because I just have this thing about wind blowing or birds flying around. I am gonna get the florist to build a small alter type thing with sheer fabrics and candles. Also have the sheer fabric draped across chairs on the aisle side. Hopefully have it a little dimly lit.

I am using FM Entertainment... I decided on a steel drummer for the outdoor cocktail hour! I am so excited about this. Also, we decided on a percussionist along with the DJ, MC for the Live feel to the room.

I decided that I'd prefer a great DJ with a life feel and just decent centerpieces, so my centerpieces are going to be on the cheaper side.

Who are their house florists? I am doing the florists during my Spring Break from school (work).

The min that I was given to guarantee was 100. I believe the max was 180. I also have the upstairs room but love the downstairs. Had to go upstairs because is was booked for the date i wanted and also because the min guarantee was too high for me to guarantee on any other day. FH also though our amount of guests wold look funny in such a large room.

yeah we booked the upstairs room too. We are inviting 160, so about 120-130 will attend, which means we did not have the min. for the downstairs room on a Saturday night in July.
I also thought it would look funny with the amount of people in such a large room. I wouldn't want it to feel like no-one was there.

Ladies, I am starting to think about making a DIY isle runner for the outside ceremony. I have a monogram that I made on my computer and would like to blow it up and paint it on an isle runner from Michaels and add a strip of ribbon along the sides of the runner. Does anyone know how long the isle outside is? I heard that the bridal party walks down from the ramp, which means the isle is super long. Michaels sells the isle runners that are 100ft.

Any ideas?

no we didn't because our ceremony is at 7:30, which means our cocktail hour is from 8-9, then the reception goes until 12:30 which is late enough and we are quickly running out of money.

we did not... After seeing all the food we are getting before hand we looked at that and said 'who is eating all of this??' The extra hour would be cool cause our families are partiers but that would have been money wasted on something no one would touch after eating all of the other food. Pluse I am have a groom's cake in addition to the wedding cake.

We were considering it too but decided the same that it was just TOO much food. I think we are going to add the chocolate fountain though. We have some kids coming and its a fun way to end the night.
