Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Hey, I'm not even using an indian salon for my hair/makeup. I liked the little salon that did my engagement hair and makeup that I'm going to use them. Their prices are really good compared to others and they did a great job. They did my mom and aunt as well and they loved it. Sometimes, just check out some of the salons in your area, they may be low key and sometimes those are the best spots. Good Luck.Kirti, Wow, you're in London, I'm so jealous!! I have family there and I loved it when I was there. Good Luck and enjoy yourself!!

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
RGV, I would think that the bridesmaids would sit with the bridal party, close to the bride and groom and their family since they were such an important part of the whole thing. That's how I'm gonna have mine setup.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Hey, do you guys have any recommendations for mendhi artists that come to your house that are local (5 boros or long island)? I saw a few that were NJ but I'm nervous to use them because of possible weather related issues that may come up in February. Any help please!

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
craznan, i'll ask the woman who's going to do mine, she did mine for the engagement and it looked so pretty. i think there's a pic in my album. if not, i'll post it. she works at a salon in queens.also, has anyone heard of or used henna photography? we booked them really early on in the wedding (before i ever heard of LIW) and i'm soooooo nervous about them.

Hey, I'm doing good, a little less stressed than before but that will all change as the days go on. How is everybody else doing?? I figured that I would bump the thread so more girls can get involved. The more ideas and indian weddings, the better for all of us. We gotta help each other out!!
