Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

I don't have any pictures yet, but the way it was described was that we will do tall ones for the family tables and mid-level ones for all the other tables. It will have blue hydrangeas (spelled wrong probably), pink and red roses and long white branches in the middle. It will be in the clear long glass pieces and medium glass pieces. It will have rose pedals and votives all around it as well. That should work right?? I mean it sounded good when Robert said it and the picture in my head. I go an see it in a few weeks and I will post pics.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

ladies,
quick question.. i'm sure it's been answered like 50 million times..
desi caterers? any preferences with quality/pricing.. i'm hoping to do family style dinner.. as of now the contenders are bukhara grill (too exp. i've heard), tandoor, mughal and diwan and chand palace..

i feel it might be much easier to order like 100 pies and call it a day!!

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

I've heard great things about bukhara grill, i'm actually gonna go there for dinner next week to sample their menu. They are on my list also. I actually took tandoor off my list. They are ok, they did my engagement and people were not too thrilled, it was ok, but not great, so i'm not gonna use them but still cheking out places.

Congrats on a successful wedding and entry into married life. Welcome back!!!
Can't wait to see the Duval proofs since I am using them as well.

Also, this is a question to all the girls, Did any of you use a Day Of Coordinator???? If not, how did it go?? We won't be able to afford one since we are going over budget so I wanna make sure it will still go over good without one. Thanks.
