Re: **Official Italian Bride Thread**

I knew there were a lot of Italians out there, but never thought there were so many Italian brides. You can count me in as being 100% Italian. I may not be off the boat, but as close to it as you can get.

This is a great thread.

Hi Girls,

Just saw this thread and I'm also 100% Italian.

We used Mirage Music and they were excellent. They are located in NJ and traveled to LI for our wedding.

Also, my family was big on the favor thing too..I gave out Waterford Crystal. I got them at a WF warehouse sale in NJ that my mil took me to. I actually think there is one coming up in a couple of weeks. When I find out the info., I will post it..

I also love this thread..

Jo,

do you remember our other Italian thread...hahahahahaaaa
pickled eggplants in cool whip containers....knee high socks with the holes...jewelery crosses bigger than our head aroud our neck...hahahahahaha
that thread was hysterical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know!! I was thinking of that thread when I saw this one..I was hysterical that day...all us Italians had soooo much in common..

Oh..speaking of pickled eggplants...My mom just gave me a jar of those in a pickle jar..hahahaha...they are so yum!!!

Hi everyone,

FYI,
I got my favors from an italian store on Myrtle Ave in Maspeth called Sogno di Sposa. They had so many beautiful things and the people there were really helpful.

Re: **Official Italian Bride Thread**

Okay.....I just saw this thread and must barge in. FH is Barese and Sicilian. I'm a mut...but am a quarter Sicilian.

Anyhoozles......I still wear the horn around my neck that I've had ever since I was a little girl. And until this day...I remember my Grandfather(the one from Sicily)....would get so mad if I tried to take it off.

I laugh now because..everything.. and I mean everything.......I still hear his voice in my head....'MAL O'CCHIO!!!'(spelling)

I miss him...okay...thats my Italian story for the day!
