Re: **Official Italian Bride Thread**

As of now - we're going to hawaii. I have the Citibank Credit card, and bank accounts that offer 'thank you points' so im gonna use ALL my points towards a free flight (hopefully ) I want to go to alot of islands - so Im thinking of staying at one island - then taking a 7/8 day cruise - and then staying at the island we land in again. Im thinking this might be cheaper and less annoying than to visit diff islands and paying more for flights, food, and hotels

btw Santina - my sister went to Aruba for her honeymoon and she LOVED it soo much - that she went back another 2 times!!

that's great - i've heard only positive reviews about Aruba so far and most people who go once usually end up going back again

we're doing a cruise too......I went before I met my FH and loved it he's been on it too.
You're right about not worrying about the island it takes you there so thats what we'll pribably do.

I've also been to Aruba and its beautiful perfect for a honeymoon.

well u have the italian food covered since ur having your reception at villa lombardi ( i went to a wedding there last summer and the food was very good) - other ways to incorporate the culture:
italian music
jordan almonds on the favors or at the tables
italian style favors like espresso pot with coffee cups or something imported

I'm pretty sure we're doing the Amalfi Coast and Rome. And probably 1-2 days with my family in Bari, since FH's family lives on the Amalfi Coast.

We are very lucky and are able to go to Italy for our vacation. We are going to Venice and Rome and a one night visit to my family's home town. We thought about doing the islands or hawaii, but it wasn't our style. Though I hear great things about Aruba and Hawaii. My parents went on an a cruise around the hawaian islands and loved it. With my dad being a pure Italain loving his italian food...he had no complaints about the food. :)

you and your FH are gonna have an amazing time. Rome is gorgeous and from what I've heard so is Venice - I've visited a lot of Italy but haven't been to Venice yet, but from what I see on TV and in pics it's a magical place. Congrats
