Well this weekend I have plans to put down my deposit on A PLACE... so hopefully by monday.. I will be getting married again OFFICALLY! lol... I have a few more Just in case appointments.. other than that.. its Turkey day, and a million bdays in the city.. trying to make it everywhere...

I just had a 'verbal scuffle' with FH. I'm reserving a room block at the Inn at Fox Hollow for my wedding. The night before my Mom, MOH's and probably a few BM's will stay the night before and the next morning we will all be getting ready there.

The rooms are high end suites. As in separate bedrooms with real kitches, livingrooms, stocked with wine and champagne glasses. Dinner is included as is breakfast. FH is already upset that I am paying for 2 suites for my BM's and Mom to stay the night before and get ready.

My parents live in an apartment and my mother was in tears that she did not have a pretty house for me to leave from- hence the hotel.

Long story short, he is upset because he feels it is unlikely people will stay and fill up the remaining 5 rooms to meet our requirement because each room is $219. I'm thinking families with small children from out of town will and also, some of our friends who want to get ripped may all split a room- comfortably sleeps 4 so $60 pp. Am I crazy?

He says only blanquitos do this. Sigh.

I know its so hard because its what you really want to do... I would talk it over again with him.. and start talking to people know.. see if you can make him feel better by getting some def possibilites of people staying...

Im not sure if Im even staying.. I WISH she was paying for the room... lol! Me & my FH was thinking about going somewhere cheaper.. But she didnt block rooms for that reason.. scared she wasent going to be able to fufill them... but it sounds like you are halfway there...

Thanks you ladies! Quia, you have to tell me all about the wedding in March I figured renting a room for some of the girls who don't live nearby made sense....don't want them waking up early for hair and makeup- which will be done at the hotel. The more relaxed we all are the better everything will be.

I talked with FH and he basically said- 'Do what you want but you better fill those rooms'. So....I'll have to do my best to persuade out of towners and even local guests who want to treat themselves.

Rooms typically go for $319-$349 (for the one I have for my parents it's the highest rate). We're getting a good deal, I'm going for it!

Im so screwed my photographer called me and told me that my new date is not available, so i called the church to see if i can move the date and i had to leave a message. Damn and i have to get back to my photographer, i have no idea what to do

First, do NOT stress...you've come so far!
Confirm the new date with your photographer and you can work with your Church for the new date. You can always find a church, you don't want to lose your photo deposit. It's a blessing you haven't booked a new hall yet. It will be OK.

Im trying not too but im so upset im going thru a hundred and one changes and no one is not even giving me any help from his families end..i hate this...but im really hoping and praying the Church can do this for me because when i went their book was empty. I really cant lose my photo deposit i already lost my hall deposit. ...im also pissed off at Duet because they told me yesterday they had extra photographers and today they tell they dont have anyone.

Everything is going to be alright, just make sure that the place that you choose is available for 10/10 (your current date right) cause I think you will really blow ur top if you have to change again. BTW be happy, the sun is out

aww thanks Im going to ask for dates for either 10/10 or 10/17 because duet is ok for those dates...but argh wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffff soo pissed though lol..ill try to be it's just constant nonsense going on...

They are sending me a new contract with the new date and i told them that i left message with the church if that date is unavailable is 10/17 available they said yes so hopefully i wont get screwed and wont have to change the date again. I spoke to the manhattan office and didn't speak to the main office so maybe thats where the mix up came.. ...Tonight im going to Leonard's hopefully if something doesn't happen and i will ask for 10/10 and 10/17 dates...argh...i feel like i am so behind because of this new date change. ...Thank you for listening to my drama...i feel like it never ends..i hate to complain but like damn it never stops.

I think they would probably travel to NJ...i really liked their style but i was still able to talk them down with the price. They have a package for photo and video for $4k i only got photos didnt want the video.
