Yeah, it brings SOMETHING out of you... to say the least.. A good trick.. About an hour before you go to bed.. 2 Tylenol and 2 b-12 vitamins.. you'll ENJOY yourself the rest of the night in uhmm 'bed' but ZERO hangover the next day and you'll REMEMBER.... UHMM VIVIDLY the night before... tee hee!!

It's not illegal to posess it in your home or serve it there, but they cannot serve it in public establishments. Something about the palos in it and the alcohol content.. Me personally.. I love the stuff.. aaaaaaaaaaah!



We have 2 bottles at home!! FH loves to represent Dominican Republic..

We wanted to give small favors of Dominican Rum.. Lets see what I find!! LOL

Def. not MAMAJUANA because it will take forever to have those little bottle sitting for a while before drinking!!

that stuff is strongggggg i brought some back when i went to DR with FH in 2007, and he had like one sip and was done lol..they say out there its good for mens um lasting long during sex lol

Hiii ladies!!!

I just had to bump this thread to tell you ladies that yesterday I had my B-pics with Angelica Glass and she's amazing!!! I already have my teaser pics...I can't post them up bc I'm paranoid that someone at work will see them, but they look amazing!!!! I definitely do not regret my little splurge. Oh and on the negative side...some guy I don't even know told me when my shower is!!! It was a suppose to be a surprise now I have to fake it when I get there...don't want my girls to feel bad after they've been working so hard to keep it a secret.

That's so great!!! I've seen Angelica Glass's work and it's sooo amazing. That's so mean of that guy why would he do that..ugh some people.

Hi! My name is Gabby. I'm excited about this thread! I'm not latina, but FH is Colombian. I want to incorporate some traditions into the wedding, but FH has not been very helpful in terms of providing ideas, so I'm really interested in any ideas anyone has.

Hi and welcome . I don't really know of any Colombian traditions because i am not Colombian. I would say maybe add a station to your cocktail hour that includes empanadas(meat patties) and maybe ask your RH if you can bring some Aguerdiente(sp?) bottles.

Definitely, have some Aguardiente at the bar during dinner and CH.

Also, are you having a Mass? If you are there's LOTS of traditions you could incorporate. Talk to your FMIL, I'm not Colombian but I'm pretty sure that they have padrinos (godparents) at weddings and may do the Rosary lasso.

hi! ive been SUPER busy with grad school and then work, by the time i get home iam dead tired! i miss posting though since i used to live on LIWEDDINGS lol
on a good note, im leaving april 11th for an early honeymoon to jamaica FH couldnt get the week of the wedding off, he got the same week i have off from work in april (spring break), so were going to go then! i cant wait
