hmm i've been thinking about having a musician play latin guitar at my cocktail, i wonder what are the going rates. Anyone has had a musician like a harpist, guitarist or a violinist play at their CH?
WOW... a Latin Guitarist... NICE.. never thought about that...
I planned on having a Harpist..she is very well known.. think I was paying no more than $500 for CH and ceremony... if you get any info on the Guitarist let me know..

I was thinkin of just having the dj play some soft music at the CH
I hired a String Quartet for my ceremony and cocktail hour. If you hire them for cocktail hour only it's $695. http://www.vstringq.com/ You can listen to clips on their site. They also play string versions of contemporary songs- that sounds really cool. Plan to have to close out the cocktail hour this way.
Percussionist will play the timbales/congas ect during the reception to accompany the dj. It's a GREAT effect....but it has to be done right. I've been to a few weddings where you couldn't even hear the drummer. What a waste.

My cousin had a harpist so i wanted to do something different, but the harpist is lovely very magical i like it but i dont want to copy my cousin lol. If i cant do the guitarist then have the dj play latin jazz

We selected the 'Alls Well that Ends Well' which includes:
2 photogs
700 proofs
engagement shoot with disc
disc with all high resolution photos
Thank you card design (they will design for free and we print it cheaper using online vendors)
This came out to just under $3 grand
We added- DVD with all photos organized (it has menus, music….kind of like a video), our album and some enlargements...there was also an additional fee for hiring Dominic. We could have waited to pay for our album after the wedding....but I wanted to take care of it in advance. FM me for the total price.
WOW this seems pretty good for all this!!!! Im going to have to check them out! From your review they sound good!
